1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hi! My name is Axzavor Dill. I am Co-Owner of Puget Sound Records and im also known as 'DJX2050'. I started djing in 2012 when I was going to college at Eastern Washington University. I started djing because I've always loved music. I remember ever since I was a kid there was always music playing and I was usually dancing and just having the best time. Then as I got older my love for music continued to grow. It grew because no matter what I was doing or where I was at music just was playing. From an early age its just been a constant in my life. Music brings me so much joy and I just feel at peace and free when music is on. I have been collecting music since I was a teenager. Whether it was cds or new mp3s on my computer, I just loved having all the songs that me and my friends loved. Then when I got to college I start noticing djs a lot more and how they used to make parties more fun. Thats when I was thinking "this is something that I can do". Then I found out we had a family friend who djed so I started shadowing him. He showed me the basics of djing, equipment, and how to run an event. I took all of that and just continued to grow. I started out doing college parties and as I came became more popular I started expanding doing other events. The other events I have djed are corporate events, weddings, fundraisers, proms, the list goes on. I love djing weddings because it is such a special event and its always so much fun !
2. What's your experience as a wedding DJ? How many weddings have you done?
I have been djing weddings since 2016. I have done close to 100 weddings.
3. How far in advance do couples need to book your services?
I would say its best to do it at least 6 months prior sometime 1 year in advance. I say that because dates start filling up quick right after wedding seasons is over. Best to reach out October-December every year to make sure I would be available for your date.

5. Are you available to travel if needed?
Yes !!! I am available to travel if needed ! Whether its a 4-6 hour drive or a flight to another state I can do it. (Additional charges will be applied)
6. How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as fun and easygoing. I aim to have just as much fun as the guests. If im djing I'm trying to make sure it is a party where you dance all the way to your car when you leave. I will be there every step of the way if you need me to help coordinate things, or if you have questions all the way leading to the big day. Its all about whatever the couple wants. SONG REQUESTS are also welcomed and encouraged!
7. What's your backup plan if there's an equipment malfunction? Do you bring backup equipment?
Yeah I usually have backup things on hand if something doesn't work. You never know with technology. Sometimes they have a mind of their own. When malfunctions happen you just have to adapt to the situation and I'm always going to find a way to get something to work or have my backups just in case.
8. What's your sick day policy?
48hrs I let the couple know if i'm not feeling well and I keep them posted. IF I CAN'T GO I send someone else out there. I have plenty of djs that I can reach out too if I can not be there.
9. How do you motivate a shy crowd to dance? What do you do to motivate the crowd if nobody is dancing?
IF the crowd is shy I just try and be encouraging to the guests. Just talk on the mic to get people dancing. I also just play songs to get people moving to appeal to everyone there. I usually can turn any crowd and someone always starts it off.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
I only give refunds if full payment is received. I never cancel I would always send a replacement to cover me. Deposits are always non-refundable. If the couple cancels and needs to reschedule then we can just reschedule no extra deposit needed. If the couple cancels and there is no wedding then no cancellation fee charged.
