1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hi I'm Shelly Taft, founder of Floral and Hardy Florist in Downtown Oklahoma City. I have been in the floral industry for 32 years and my love for it has only grown larger! We have had several different business locations, at one time having 7 shops. We have found that the heart of Oklahoma City is where we belong. We look forward to helping you with any floral needs you may have and only serve you with the best experience here at Floral and Hardy. Thank you!!

2. What's your experience as a wedding florist business? How many weddings are in there in your portfolio?

With our location being in Downtown OKC, we have many brides come in for consultations. We typically do at least 1 wedding a month anywhere from smaller weddings with 2 bridesmaids etc, to a bigger wedding with 10 bridesmaids. I have listed 3 of my personal favorite wedding photos in my portfolio pictures to give you a peek at what we do here at Floral and Hardy.

3. How far in advance do couples need to secure your services?

At least a month prior, especially if there are specifics so we can make sure we have those ordered and will have them in stock.

4. How do you price your floral arrangements? What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

All of our wedding prices are different depending on what the couple wants. Premium flowers will be on the higher end, while standard flowers stay on the lower end of the budget.

5. How many meetings will you have with the couple, and how will they be involved?

We usually only need about 2 meetings with the couple, sometimes one. The first meeting will consist of telling us your date, visions, colors, & budget. The second one will be focused on which exact flowers and how it will look as a whole.

6. Who else is in your team and how many people on your staff will be at the wedding?

We will have up to 2 people deliver the flowers and set them up where they belong.

7. How would you describe your design style? (e.g. traditional, modern, rustic, organic)

Our style is very open! We love the rustic look, but we also love the modern and tropical flowers. We are all about unique things and open minds.

8. Who will handle setup and delivery? What other services do you offer?

One of our designers and our driver will work as a team to deliver the flowers and set them up accordingly.

9. What happens to the flowers after the wedding?

The Bride & Groom get to decide what they want to do with the beautiful pieces after their special day!

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

Every situation is different!
