1. Introduction: What's your story?

Queen of Egypt is a name I love that has been with me since moving to Tucson, Arizona almost 10 years ago. In Egypt I had the pleasure of helping hundreds happy couples create their perfect wedding. Together we created a visual treat for the eyes.
Located close to the Nile River in Egypt I finished my degree in Fine Arts with a focus in Animation from The Faculty of Fine Arts, Minia University. A few years after finishing our degrees my husband and I moved to The United States.
My husband is a doctor here in beautiful Tucson. We are raising our four boys Patrick 12, Brendell 10, and our twins Baron and Pitero 7 years old. We love living in Tucson with its unique beauty, sunny weather, and lovely people. It has become our home.
And I decided to start back works in the wedding carrier. And make Queens for a Day. My brides deserve to have that experience to be a queen for her big Day. Starts from high end wedding gowns to rent, beautiful volumes hair updo, stunning makeup to highlight her beauty to her special bouquet with our coordinator. All of that with us. When they see their hair first thing they say (wow I didn’t know I have all of that hair) we let her see her beauty from inside out. Making our finger prints in every details. When we starts we said we will do our best. We didn’t know that we will be one of the best. We never dreamed to be here but we worked hard to stand strong. Hard work pay back. Our team starts with one but till now we still adding to our team. We are the Queen Team! ?
It is a pleasure and honor to work with each bride. I’m the last one she sees before she walks the aisle to her groom. I love celebrating each one as one of my family in Egyptian way. We are more than services in our business. It’s a community and support. My Queen brides recommend and appreciate my presence with them in their special day. For me it’s unforgettable moments to see their smile and tears from happiness.
My dream is to put higher expectations for brides in Tucson. And to make Queen for a day for each bride and let her have this experience. And each bride enjoy her high end wedding day as a queen.
2. What's your experience as a bridal hair & makeup artist? How many brides are in there in your portfolio?
I have been working with brides from 20 years. I loved each bride and have special memory with each one. I made hundreds of brides between the U.S. and Egypt with my team.
3. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
We offer packages including hair, makeup, flowers bouquets with coordinator.
Also we have packages of just hair, makeup and flowers.
Finally we offer wedding gowns( rent), hair, makeup, flowers.
We try our best to work with our brides budget specially this time. We care about our brides.
4. Do you have a team of assistants or will you be the only artist that day? What will happen if you're sick or have an emergency on the wedding day?
We are the Queen team! I always have my assistant with me Kristine Gibbons. And our other artist Nicolle Erzen. We are teaming up with other artist in case anything happened.
5. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
Yes we do. It depends on the distance. If our Queen has packages we don’t charge for travel. We cover it up and don’t charge our Queen ?
6. Can the bride book a wedding makeup trial appointment and will you also do a trial before the wedding?
Yes of course we love to see our Queen bride before her big day to hear and see her dream. Our consultation and trial is perfect to match her dream with what exactly will work with her hair and face. If her hair needs volume to work our magic.
7. What beauty products do you use and would you be open to the bride using her own make-up?
We use high end hair and makeup products. We also offer airbrush. Yes we are sure open to use her products. Whatever she prefers.
8. How can you make the bride's wedding makeup last and look good in photos?
When it comes to makeup it comes to skin care. We start with facials to prepare our queen bride for her big day. Before her wedding like 2 months. We start having her for facials and even fo full body exfoliating (Moroccan Hammam) it’s an unforgettable experience for all our brides. We prepare with threading and sugaring natural hair removal. It will last up to 4 weeks without needing to do anything. That will make her enjoy her honeymoon.
After that in her wedding day we start with primer, liquid foundation, power foundation, lasting spray and airbrush. All light layers. All our makeup last up to 12 hours. Some lady up to 24 hours. All our Queen brides love it.
9. How long will makeup take on the day and how long will you be staying for on the day?
For our Queen bride we work at least 2 hours hair and makeup. We prepare her hair the right way. First we start with air dryer, and crimp her hair to add volume. All what we care about the experience she will never get to have again. Her volume hair with updo or Hollywood wave or curly hair or whatever she dreams off.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Usually our first deposit is non refundable . But because what we are going through around the world we decided to change it. Now if your wedding postponed we accept that your deposit will go to your date wedding.
