1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hello my name is Rafaela! I want to tell you a little about myself so you know who you're booking.
I am from Mexico and I moved to Arizona when I was 19 years young. With my love for fashion, art and beauty industry, I knew fashion was my calling from a young age. My dream was to be a clothes designer lol! I grew up watching my mother, aunts and my grandmother doing that but GOD had different plans for me!
And this is me with 7 years of experience now. Something curious about me back when I started, I did my very first bride with only 4 months of experience. Something I'm very proud of !. Anyways I'm going to stop here talking about me.
Whether you want a more natural look or a full glam style, my experience will help you look and feel your best. Zahara Beauty LLC was founded in 2015 based in Phoenix, Arizona. My priority is your happiness and comfort. I'm a Licensed Cosmetologist who specializes in Bridal Hair and Makeup, highly educated and professional, constantly attends to makeup and hair workshops to bring the latest trends and techniques to my clients, the most recently learned from Michelly Palma, Denisse Castillo, Pepe Gutierrez and Efrain Tirado.
2. What's your experience as a bridal hair & makeup artist? How many brides are in there in your portfolio?
I have been doing hair and makeup as a professional for 8 years, not counting all the hours from Cosmetologist school. I started this career with the right foot!
Since I started on this career with only few months of experience I was doing hair and Makeup for brides! I can say I have done over 250 brides so far. And 2023 looks really busy already!
3. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
The most popular package is the Bride with Bridesmaids and Moms. I do offer hair and or makeup for small groups.
4. Do you have a team of assistants or will you be the only artist that day? What will happen if you're sick or have an emergency on the wedding day?
I dont have a team or assistant, but with time in advance I can ask for help to some colleagues that i totally trust in their quality work. If something happen definitely i will look for someone to take over me .
5. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
Yes i do charge a travel fee on the greater Phoenix area. Other cities or over 45 minutes drive the fee increase.
6. Can the bride book a wedding makeup trial appointment and will you also do a trial before the wedding?
I highly suggest bride to have a trial is not a must to schedule with me but highly recommend it . When bride had their trial prior to the wedding date they are most relaxed and i feel the same as well because we already met each other. And i know more about her personality and visions .
7. What beauty products do you use and would you be open to the bride using her own make-up?

I open to use client’s cosmetics if they have sensitive skin or allergies to certain products, or maybe they some faves that they can’t live without, or if they going for a really specific look.
8. How can you make the bride's wedding makeup last and look good in photos?
I constantly get educated with the latest techniques . One thing about me i always test the products on myself first so i can know for what type of skin suit better or if they really do what they claim. All my products are hd photo-video friendly.
9. How long will makeup take on the day and how long will you be staying for on the day?
A bridal makeup takes about 90 minutes the same for hair as well. I am focused on every datail. If the bride wants me to stay for touch ups it has to be requested on the initial scheduling , this is an extra service . Otherwise i do get booked for other parties.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Honestly I haven’t get canceled for a bride before , I do offer electronic contracts . Deposit is not refundable only if the bride is rescheduling within 1 year and if I’m available I will give the credit from the deposit. If I had to cancel for reasons beyond of my control I will refund 100%.
