1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hi I am Fran Fernandez owner and founder of artistic hair and make up specializing in hair and make up for weddings and special occasions.
Your wedding is your most photographed day. The bride and her wedding party are in the spotlight and we love to make you shine
2. What's your experience as a bridal hair & makeup artist? How many brides are in there in your portfolio?
My experience as a bridal hair and make up artist has been most satisfying. I have been making women beautiful for 45 years.
I’ve taken care of brides from all over the world. Making women beautiful on their special day makes them smile and gives me joy.
3. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
Traditional make up and hair 115.00
Air brush make up and hair 125.00
Most popular is the air brush make up
No charge for flower girls they always get a touch of fairy dust and lipgloss ?
4. Do you have a team of assistants or will you be the only artist that day? What will happen if you're sick or have an emergency on the wedding day?
I have two associates. Emergencies do happen but we always go out of our way to please our brides.
5. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
We charge a TRAVEL FEE and a SET UP FEE the going rate is $0.56 a mile both ways and a set up fee is 20 per stylist this is a quote that varies from Bride to Bride and can be given in advance as we work through the details.
6. Can the bride book a wedding makeup trial appointment and will you also do a trial before the wedding?
We highly recommend a wedding trial at least three months before the wedding. I always want our bride to be happy on her wedding day so this assures us that we are all on the same page and if any adjustments need to be made we are able to do that we keep a file on every bride we write down all the make up choices on a make up chart and we take before and after pictures.
7. What beauty products do you use and would you be open to the bride using her own make-up?
I have my own line of make up "Francesca Cosmetics". However, we use other make up lines as well because we know they work.
If a bride is comfortable using her own make up so are we.
Brides can have skin sensitivities and they have special make up and colors that they are comfortable with that’s when a trial run is very important so we are familiar with them on the day of the wedding.
8. How can you make the bride's wedding makeup last and look good in photos?
We guarantee our make up will hold up by using:
1) Primer waterproof mascara
2) Setting spray
3) Air brush make up (which is waterproof and sweat proof
and transfer resistant!)
9. How long will makeup take on the day and how long will you be staying for on the day?
Make up usually takes 30 minutes for a traditional make up and 45 minutes for air brush make up.
If additional time is needed to apply strip lashes we charge $10 application fee on top of the original make up price.
We charge $30 an hour if needed at the reception to stay for touchups or change of hairstyles.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
We do ask for a deposit, this will hold the day.
When we have a head count on the services we ask for half down. Your deposit goes toward your wedding day and a refund will be given if we have 30 days notice.
