1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hello! My name is Adrianna Thomas, the owner and hair designer at ThomasadriannaBeauty.
My love for hair started at a very early age. I taught myself how to braid at the age of 12 and was doing braid styles and extensions by the time i was 14 years old. I made a name for myself at a very early age and my passion for hair transition into my young adult years.
In 2008, i unintentionally became a “beauty influencer” via YouTube for displaying my self taught skills to the world. I had no idea that my work would touch so many people around the world.
As one of the first African American beauty influencer on YouTube, i have accumulated over 100,000 subscribers and 45 million views. I was also awarded with the platinum YouTube play button in 2014. From there, i continued perfecting my craft and obtaining my braid and hair wrapping license. As i got older and my non-bridal clients walked into new chapters in their lives, they began to book me for their wedding day!
My very first official bridal booking was year 2013. That particular bride was featured in a wedding article which gave me unexpected exposure to the bridal world. Her particular hair style in the article was highly requested by potential brides which started my transition into becoming an official bridal hairstylist.
To date, i have styled over 100 plus weddings and traveled to over 50 cities and 5 states providing bridal services to my wonderful brides.
2. What's your experience as a bridal hair & makeup artist? How many brides are in there in your portfolio?
I have over 14 years of experience with hair styling and over 8 years of experience as a traveling bridal hair stylist. I have styled over 100 weddings with an estimate of 90 brides in my portfolio.
3. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
I offer packages and individual pricing for all couples. This method of pricing is highly praised by all of my past brides. The most popular package is:

The add on fee of $400 covers: my time, personal styling/touch ups, 2nd look styling, travel to venue location, after hour on site fee
*if you choose the VIP add on, please include stylist as a guest/vendor to the wedding list so stylist has easier access to bride and venue when needed
*assistant/mentee may be present with stylist for educational purposes

4. Do you have a team of assistants or will you be the only artist that day? What will happen if you're sick or have an emergency on the wedding day?
I am the only stylist the day and have several affiliated hairstylist that i use in case of emergencies. Those particular stylists are NOT under ThomasadriannaBeauty LLC and are used for collaborating purposes only.
5. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
Yes, i charge a travel fee for ALL bookings. Distance depends on the minutes/hours it takes to get to a specific location. Out of state/country bookings require hotel stay and flight. Travel fee covers gas, tolls and any other travel expense needed to get to and from your booking.
6. Can the bride book a wedding makeup trial appointment and will you also do a trial before the wedding?
Yes, brides have the option to book bridal hair trials prior to securing their wedding. Brides DO NOT have to choose me as their bridal hairstylist in order to complete a trial. Bridal trials are open to anyone who is interested. I suggest that bridal trials be booked at minimum 2 month prior to wedding day.
7. What beauty products do you use and would you be open to the bride using her own make-up?
I use various professional hair styling products. Some products are not accessible to non-professionals. However, if a bride chooses to provide her own hair products, i would give my suggested list of non-professional products that the bride may purchase on her hair if desired.
8. How can you make the bride's wedding makeup last and look good in photos?
My technique for ensuring that the brides hair last in photos is to use high quality professional hair spray.
9. How long will makeup take on the day and how long will you be staying for on the day?
The time needed to complete a bridal hair style depends on which particular style the bride desires. For example, the estimated time for an updo ranges between 45 mins to an hour in a half. The time needed for classic curls range between 20 mins to 45 mins.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Deposits are non-refundable. If the bride chooses to pay up front for all services and the wedding is canceled due to a natural disaster or act of God, full refund for services paid for in advance will be refund only.
