1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hi my name is Heather Ramirez Burnam. I am a professional hair and makeup artist with 19 years experience in the beauty industry. I established Flawless Bride in 2002 and was the first to introduce the art of airbrushing to the New Orleans wedding circuit and it became an instant success. Since taking the wedding scene by storm, I have had the pleasure of getting to work with with brides of all age, ethnicity and skin tone.
Our teams work has been featured on TheWeddingChannel.com, 'Real Wedding' on TheKnot.com and The Style Network's 'Marrried Away', just to name a few. Flawless Brides exceptional styles have graced the cover of 'Weddings in Style', 'Southern Bride' and 'New Orleans Wedding Magazine' among others.

2. What's your experience as a bridal hair & makeup artist? How many brides are in there in your portfolio?
We have been on the wedding scene since 2002. We have been blessed to work with so many wonderful brides and bridal parties!
We have thousands of brides in our portfolio as well as featured all across the world in magazines, tv and web.
3. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
Our most popular package is the Flawless Bride and it includes hair, makeup and lashes for $150.
4. Do you have a team of assistants or will you be the only artist that day? What will happen if you're sick or have an emergency on the wedding day?
Flawless Bride is made up of a team of dedicated and very talented artists. In the rare event that an artist that is assigned to a bride on their wedding date has an emergency or comes down with something, a replacement artist is sent out and a 10% discount is applied to the brides services.
5. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
Our travel fee is $50 per 30 minutes of commute and $100 per hr of commute. Anything over an hour away is charged accordingly depending on the time it takes to arrive.
6. Can the bride book a wedding makeup trial appointment and will you also do a trial before the wedding?
We offer trials at our salon on Oak Street or on location. Trials are recommended before the wedding day so you can meet with your artist and try out the wedding day look beforehand. This gives us the opportunity to make sure you are 100% happy with your look and we can expect a smooth ride on the day of the wedding.
7. What beauty products do you use and would you be open to the bride using her own make-up?
Our makeup kits are made up of high end products. Each artist uses their own preferred high end brands. If we have a bride who is sensitive to certain products or insists on using their own, we gladly accommodate their requests and are open to using anything that they prefer us to use.
8. How can you make the bride's wedding makeup last and look good in photos?
Living in New Orleans, we are very experienced with applying bridal makeup that will last the entire night and also photography flawlessly. We know exactly what to use to stand up to this NOLA heat!
9. How long will makeup take on the day and how long will you be staying for on the day?
Makeup typically takes about 30 minutes to apply per person in the wedding day. We like to spend a little extra time with our brides so that they look perfect before they walk down the aisle. Depending on the total number of services in the bridal party and the completion time for the prep determines the arrival time for the day. We usually have a 5 hour window we like to stay within.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Upon booking with us for your wedding day a $150 holding deposit is due. Unfortunately this fee is non refundable. If a bride must cancel, they will not be charged any additional fees.
