1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hey, I am Emily McIntyre, owner of Emily McIntyre Photography. I have always had a love for photography since I was really little, but it was always just a hobby and never something I thought I could do as a career. I got my first professional camera right before graduating college. I played around with it, but was honestly so busy, it kind of sat for two years. When I got pregnant with my daughter, I knew I needed a new job, or something that would allow me to work from home. I started playing around with my camera again, a found out that I could actually make a living doing something I enjoyed so much! It did take me a few years to build up a portfolio and have steady clients, so in 2018 I went full-time as a wedding photographer. It has been the greatest blessing, and a job that doesn't even feel like a job, because I love it so much! I know have an Associate that works for me, and I hope to grow my team even more in the next few years!
2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
I have been shooting weddings full-time since 2018. I have shot over 100 weddings, and have done weddings in 8 different states.
3. How would you describe your photography style?
My photography style is very classic and clean. It has a timeless, romantic feel to it. I want to document love stories with intentions and artistry, and freeze those fleeting moments and turn them into romantic nostalgia.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
As soon as possible, dates fill up super fast, especially during peak booking season which is October-February. I generally am booked out 12 months in advance. April, May, September, and October are always the first months to get booked up.
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
My packages are custom, so it is best to book a consultation with me for a more accurate quote. My couples on average spend $4,400, and receive 9hours of coverage time though.
6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
On Wedding Days, I am the lead photographer, unless you booked an Associate package, then the lead will be Reagan. We always have two photographers at every wedding though.
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
I do charge a travel fee if you are outside a 100 mile radius. Travel fees are custom, because it really just depends on how far it is, and whether I will need to fly or drive, and if a hotel is needed.
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
There is a 10x10 fine art album included in our Premium and Standard packages
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?
Wedding Galleries will be delivered through an online gallery, 6-8 weeks after the wedding.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Cancellation must be done with a signed cancellation contract. Deposits are non-refundable, and refund for non-rendered services will be pro-rated.
