1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hi, I’m Ruby! And I’m all about helping madly-in-love couples remember and relive the magic of their wedding day.
I’ve always been the girl with a camera, ever since middle school. What was a hobby became my creative, professional career, and now I get to capture love stories and give my couples memories that will last a lifetime.
Weddings are emotional. And I love being in the moment to capture those moments. Whether it’s laughing with your abuelos, dancing with the ring bearer, or gazing lovingly into your new spouse’s eyes – I’m going to make sure you have photographic memories of all those emotional experiences.
I believe that marriage is forever. It’s like an expensive teacup – if it cracks, you repair it – you don’t throw it away. And I’m honored to capture your forever memories.
2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
Although my love for weddings grew back in 2014, I didn't start to photograph them until 2018. Giving my best to each and every wedding is important to me, which is why I only limit myself to 10 weddings a year. Not only does this allow me to give each the love and attention it deserves, but I also get to spend time with my family and loved ones.
3. How would you describe your photography style?
My photo style is like my personality: festive.

I’m here to be more than your photographer, I’m your “unofficial maid of honor.” I’m going to tuck every stray hair back in place, fluff your dress, and straighten those ties before you step in front of the camera.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
The sooner, the better! As mentioned previously, I only accept ten weddings each year. That's LESS than one wedding per month! I usually don't book out more than 18 months in advance, but the sooner, the better. I get booked for Spring the fastest!

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
Yes! If you book with Ruby Sandoval Photography, you get me. You will also get a professional second photographer.
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
I do not charge any travel fees if the wedding is within 30 miles of zip code 85742. Even if your location is farther away, I am known to waive those fees. If there's a Starbucks on the way, I'm there!
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
Having an heirloom wedding album is the best way to enjoy your photos, relive the emotions of your wedding day, and share the experience with future children and even grandchildren. And because honestly, your timeless, festive wedding photos deserve to live outside of a few Instagram squares. I know how meaningful these albums are because my husband and I have one sitting in our family room. Almost weekly, our daughter will flip through it, gazing at the images and asking us questions about our wedding. Her face lights up when we share the details, and so do ours. Because every time we look through our album, we're back in the moment – feeling all that love and joy and excitement. And reconnecting like that is great for our marriage, especially on those hard days.
I want you to have a beautiful, tangible reminder of your wedding day, not just a gallery of digital images you swear you'll make a Shutterfly album with one day. (Spoiler alert: you won't!)
I treasure your marriage and your memories, and I want to make sure you walk away with the ability to relive your wedding day for weeks, months, and years afterward.
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?
I will deliver your online gallery full of emotional, festive images that take you right back to your wedding day within 6 weeks! This is where you can view, download, and order images, so I suggest pouring a glass of wine and inviting your family to enjoy the gallery with you.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
If for any reason there's a cancellation more than 30 days before the wedding date, I keep the non-refundable retainer as liquidated damages and shall keep all other payments made by Clients up to the date of cancellation, but will not be responsible for any remainder due. If there is a reschedule, and I am available for the new date, then it can be transferred over to the new date.
