1. Introduction: What's your story?
My name is Christophe Genty, I am a wedding photographer, in the beautiful Napa, California.
I started shooting in Paris when I was 17 years old and I was hooked, I never put my camera back down again.
Since the beginning, I fell in love with recording the decisive moments of life and it’s still to this day my passion.
For me shooting is about a relationship, a composition, being playful and ultimately the excitement of the moment, being in the moment is a big part of getting amazing photographs my clients will cherish for generations to come.
2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
I started wedding photography back in France in 1996, and in the US since 2000. I have photographed about 500 weddings. I love the joy and energy that surrounds romantic stories.
3. How would you describe your photography style?
It’s all about making this experience easy and fun for my clients, we talk before hand about the unique dream of their wedding, what they envision and then my gift is to make their wedding story into stunning pictures.”
I am a storyteller. Sometimes like a silent witness, sometimes like a movie director, I set up moods, creating the energy that needs to be brought out of every bride and groom to engage their best.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
Book your wedding photographer as soon as you have reserved your venue.
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
My wedding package starts at $3,800 for 6 hours of coverage and the downloadable photographs at high resolution are included.
My most popular package is 8 hours of photography coverage with a second photographer and an engagement session.
6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
Yes, I will be the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day.
I can bring extra photographer with me if needed
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
I don't have a travel fee as long as your wedding is located within 2 hours from my studio in Napa CA.
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
Downloadable files are included in my wedding packages.
Album, canvas or prints may be added.
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?
Depending on the time of the year, my couples receives their downloadable images through a ZIP file link within 6 to 10 weeks after the wedding date.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
In the event of a postponement or cancellation of the wedding, the retainer is non-refundable. If the Wedding is cancelled within 90 days of the Wedding Date, Buyer shall be responsible for the full contract price. If the Wedding is rescheduled for another date for which Christophe Genty Photography is available, the retainer will be applied to the new contract. If Christophe Genty Photography is not available for the rescheduled date, the retainer is non-refundable.
In the unlikely event of a personal illness or other circumstances beyond the control of Christophe Genty Photography, a substitute photographer of high qualifications, subject to the acceptance by the Buyer prior to the event, may be dispatched by Christophe Genty Photography to fulfill the obligations of photography herein contracted. In such case that Buyer declines Christophe Genty Photography sending of a substitute photographer, Buyer may elect to terminate this agreement and receive a full refund.
