1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hi, I'm Elena Bazini, and I am a Chicago-based wedding photographer who loves getting to know my clients.

I love telling stories with my images. And I love weddings.

When my clients look back on their wedding images, I want them to remember how it felt to be there. I want them to have beautiful images of moments they may have missed– a tear quickly swept away, a big laugh, a quick but meaningful glance.

While I love classic poses and unique composition, my favorite photographs always end up being the moments that happen naturally. I am drawn to beautiful light and real emotion. I am always striving to create that image that will make you say ‘wow.’

With passion, dedication, creativity, and style, I specialize in telling beautiful love stories with photos that capture the essence of each couple. My timeless and photojournalistic style will be forever current. Our upbeat and easygoing personalities will help make your wedding day fabulous and fun. 2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?

I've been photographing weddings for a little over a decade now, average about 20-30 weddings per year. Most of my clients get married in Chicago and the surrounding area, but I have also photographed celebrations in the Florida Keys, Michigan, Missouri, Indiana, Wisconsin, New York, and Anguilla.

3. How would you describe your photography style?

Vibrant, Personal, Elegant, Authentic, and Unexpected. I love capturing real moments that give me goosebumps, or get me teary eyed behind my lens. I’m looking for genuine laughter, great reactions, and palpable emotions. Without getting too corny– weddings are a slice of life, and life is beautiful. My style naturally changes to fit who YOU are. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard from clients that the photos “captured who we are as a couple.” And that is the highest compliment. Let’s make some great portraits and let’s capture all the fun as it happens, with style.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?

Whenever you’re ready, let’s do this! I have booked anywhere from 3 weeks (very rare) to 16 months (also kind of rare) in advance. I recommend getting in touch with me as soon as you have a wedding date and venue. Send me a message to check my availability today!

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

It's best to reach out directly for packages and custom offerings. However, my most common package includes 10 hours or coverage, two photographers, High Resolution Files, and a Chicago engagement shoot. Other packages include custom wedding albums, additional hours, etc. I'm happy to create something as you unique as your event! With all the changes to the wedding and event industry lately, I have found myself photographing a lot of shorter packages, elopements, etc. Let's chat about what you have planned!

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?

Yes! I am the lead photographer on all weddings booked through my studio. I always work with a second photographer so that we can capture all the angles. Our clients love the candid shots!

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

This depends on the place. Clients getting married outside of the Chicago area who are interested in my services should send a message for more information.

8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?

Some of our collections include a custom 10x14 wedding album of 50 images. Prints are available as well.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?

Approximately 6 weeks after your wedding, your online gallery and slideshow will go live! Your beautiful high resolution images will then be ready for downloading. The number of final photos varies based on the number of hours and photographers in your wedding day package. But generally speaking, you can expect 50-100 glorious photos per hour of coverage.
