1. Introduction: What's your story?

I fell into weddings on accident-- that was never a part of my plan! I began my career as a portrait photographer who wanted to work for fashion magazines, but when I got a taste of weddings after assisting for another photographer, I fell in love with the wedding industry and the rest is history.

One of my number one goals with my work is to provide each of my couples with a personalized and enjoyable photography experience that captures their wedding as a story, so that they can look back on the day and relive all the same emotions and excitement. I'm big on getting to know my couples personally, and you can almost guarantee that you'll get a big hug from me when we first meet!

2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?

I've been photographing my own clients' weddings since 2017, and have worked over 100 weddings to date!

3. How would you describe your photography style?

My style is light, colorful, and timeless, and I believe some of the best photos are the ones that are real and joyful! I love capturing all of the candid emotions that happen naturally throughout a wedding day, as well as all of the little details and decorations so carefully selected in your planning process.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?

On average, my couples book me 9-15 months in advance, but I always recommend beginning your search for your photographer as early as you can! Photographers are one of the first vendors that couples book, so our availability calendar fills up quicker and further out than most other vendors-- it's important to not wait to reach out if you have your eye on a particular photographer so that you have a better chance of them being available for your date.

May, June, September, and October are historically the months that book up the quickest and have no remaining weekends available in my region. Booking for a Friday or a Sunday is often a wise option if you are planning a May-October wedding and having a shorter engagement, to ensure that you still have your pick of vendors!

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

My wedding collections include full day coverage, two photographers, complimentary engagement session, and a gallery of high resolution digital files. Select collections also include heirloom wedding albums!

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?

I am the lead photographer for almost every wedding client I serve! On the rare occasion that a wedding is postponed due to circumstances like COVID-19 and I'm already booked for the couple's new date, their photography coverage will be provided by an associate on my team and all editing, planning, communication, and image delivery will remain through me.

I include a second photographer in every full coverage wedding collection, and have a third person as an assistant on my team as well to help with organizational tasks and behind-the-scenes to-do's while myself and my second photographer actively capture the day.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

Weddings and engagement sessions that take place more than 90 miles from my location in Lexington, Kentucky do incur a travel fee to cover the cost of roundtrip transportation, and if applicable, overnight accommodations.

8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?

Select wedding collections do include Heirloom Wedding Albums, and a variety of Album and Print products are also available A La Carte.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?

The full wedding gallery will be delivered via a custom online gallery within 45 days of the wedding date, and sneak peek images will be shared the same week to ensure that you're never waiting too long to get view and share your images!
