1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hello, My name is Amy Ballard. I live in Corinth, MS. I am the owner of Amy C Photography. I started out taking pictures in 1997 when my son was born. I wanted to have plenty of pictures of him to look back on for years to come. Then the second son came along in 2002 and in between I was asked to do a wedding every once in a while for a friend or co-worker. Another person would see their pictures and it just snowballed from there. That's when I realized that I loved it. Throughout the years I took a few breaks from it to do some other things that I enjoyed such as cosmetology school and law enforcement training but I have always made my way back to photography. I absolutely love it. I love being a part of one of the most special days in a couples life. I absolutely love seeing the smiles on their faces when they get their edited photos back and get to view them for the first time. I want them to look at those pictures and feel that day all over again. I want them to be able to go back to that special day every time they take a look at their wedding album. I am a very fun person. We have to get those traditional wedding photos but I love getting poses that nobody else has done. I like to stand out a bit. Most of all I want my clients to express their thought and ideas for their photos and no matter what that is, I will do my absolute best to make it happen. With me you will experience southern hospitality and a whole lot of fun and I will do my best not to say "love it', too many times during your session. 2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
Approximately 32 weddings, Been taking pictures for clients for about 23 years.
3. How would you describe your photography style?
My photography style incorporates a little fun with sweet romance to capture the love and relationship shared between a couple.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
Spring and fall are the busiest. It's best to reach out to me about 6 months in advance. Weekends, Saturdays especially book the quickest and April, May and June book quickly.
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
I do one package. My wedding shoots include all edited digital files with copyright release. Price is based on Wedding size and can range from $500 to $2000. I come early and stay late to make sure the entire event is captured. There is no difference in price due to the amount of time I stay. I also bring extra lighting equipment in the event it is needed.
6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
I am the photographer. I sometimes come alone and sometimes I bring an additional person to help with equipment depending on the wedding size.
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
I only charge a travel fee if I will be staying over night. That is to help cover my stay and extra fuel for the trip. Anything farther than 50 miles.
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
No albums or prints included as I offer copyright release on all my images.
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?
They will be delivered online and I also provide all images on a USB drive which can be mailed or picked up and I usually ask for at least 4 weeks for editing but most of the time they are done sooner.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Deposit is due at booking. If wedding is canceled, within 90 days prior, money will be refunded in full.
