2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
I've been photographing weddings for just over 8 years and the number is 99 and counting!
3. How would you describe your photography style?
I have a distinct style. I photograph real moments (ie candid and photo-journalistic) but I absolutely adore getting clients amazing curated shots. I'm all for the bride(s) and groom(s) individual beauty shots. It's so important to remember how you felt as an individual on your wedding day, as well as being part of an amazing couple. My aim is to give you an album that shows the subtle and small moments mixed with bold & breath-taking.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
Ideally, you are booking me a few months in advance so that we have the time to get to know each other. However, many couples decide to elope (I did so myself and so know all about this!) and make a decision at the last minute. As long as I can get to know you a little before your day (video call), that's all that I need! Key dates of the year get booked at least one year in advance.
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
I offer a variety of packages, ranging from 3 hour midweek elopements to full-scale luxury weddings. Most couples spend an average of $3,700 with me on photography services.
6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
Yes, I am the lead photographer. I do shoot with second photographers and can arrange this for your day. If you are getting married at a peak time of the year and need a second shooter, I encourage you to book way in advance!
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
My packages include travel up to 60 miles from Asheville but I am happy to travel to anywhere in the world!
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
Albums and prints can be added on to all of my packages, at an extra cost.
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?
I do my best to have a really quick turnaround. Typically, full albums are delivered within 4 weeks - there could be some variance depending on the season but I pride myself in being dedicated to the editing process and getting couples their album ASAP. I provide sneak-peek pics for unplugged weddings within 72 hours.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Dates can be changed, subject to availability. Contact me for full terms and conditions.
