1. Introduction: What's your story?

My name is Michael. I was fortunate to take an editing class in college where the professor was also a wedding photographer. He thought I had potential and offered me an internship. I started hustling, shooting weddings with him, watching him edit, learning how to lead a wedding day and about a year later started taking on my own clients. My first wedding was for a friend, she paid me two hundred dollars, haha. It was scary and awesome all at the same time.

A couple of years later my wife Grace came on board as at the business manager and that is when we really started to grow, partnering great photography and great customer service is the winning combo.

2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?

We have been in business for almost 17 years. We now have several lead photographers on our team and have worked with 400+ amazing clients on their weddings. We are truly blessed to have been in business this long and still enjoy what we do.

3. How would you describe your photography style?

My style and that of our lead photographers is one that we like to think transcends trends. We use a lot of natural light, our images are clean, classic with a hint of drama and utilize great photographic skill, not just great editing.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?

We notice in ohio that most couples book 9-12 months out from their big day. In larger cities you see more people booking 15 - 24 months out, but personally I think that is too long a time to wait. Waiting almost two years is exhausting on the couple, so the ideal window is 9 - 15 months.

October has become the biggest wedding month for us, it is the busiest by far. I think couples like the idea of a fall wedding, but if you truly want fall colors, the end of October and even early November is ideal.

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

Our collections are meant to make your decision easy. We have packages with just one photographer and 7 hours starting around $3000 and go up to two photographers with 10+ plus hours from there. We like to keep things simple, so yes we offer all kinds of albums, prints and add ons, but the time and the photographer need to be where your focus is. You don't want a "bargain" when it comes to your wedding day and the memories you get to walk away with.

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?

In our studio you choose your lead photographer and unless some illness or terrible accident they will be the one. Fortunately, we have a team where anyone can step in when needed, so we have our own backups ready to go, just in case.

Normally you will have one or two photographers on the day.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

We travel all over the world for sessions. We have done engagements/weddings in Paris, Italy, California, Seattle, Canada, Mexico, NYC and honestly most of the major cities and some of the smallest towns in the US. We are always ready for an adventure.

8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?

We don't have Albums or prints included, but you can add them on or we offer discounted pricing to all of our clients post wedding as well!

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?

We have an amazing online gallery that looks like your own wedding website where your images would live. You can send the link to the site out to friend and family where they can download and order.

We say it will be 6-8 weeks post wedding, but normally we have the weddings to the couples much sooner.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

We have a non - refundable deposit that a couple will put down, but we allow them to move that to a new date within one year of the original wedding day, should the need to postpone arrive.
