1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hi, I'm Jeanette, the founder and primary photographer of Linen & Elm Photography. An artist at heart, I love styling and shooting timeless wedding images that will look beautiful for years to come.
From developing film in a darkroom to today’s mirrorless technology, I have always had a camera in my hand, but truly began to understand the power of photography after I started a hobby blog in 2012. This led me to some “pinch me” moments in my life! From a 5-page feature spread in Better Homes & Gardens to being a TV guest on the Rachael Ray Show!
When my friend saw that well-known magazines were publishing my photos, she encouraged me to go pro as a photographer. In 2021, I launched my business officially, and now I am here to create these epic moments for you.
2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
Linen & Elm Photography, LLC officially launched in 2021 thanks to the encouragement I received from a friend who needed photos for her website. I photographed her beautiful property, a brand new wedding and event venue. She encouraged me to go pro as a wedding photographer, so I worked part-time in 2022 and 2023 and booked 24 weddings.
In 2024, our wedding schedule is fully booked at 15 weddings this year. We max our bookings at 15 so we can spend as much time as possible with all of our booked wedding couples.
3. How would you describe your photography style?
Documentary style, and I continually strive for magazine-worthy images. I love to play with light, shadows, perspective and movement. Some of the absolute best moments happen when they are unplanned and unposed. I also love black & white images.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
12 months in advance is ideal, but I've booked last minute weddings, too. Saturdays in May, June, and October seem to sell out fast.
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
I am the lead photographer with 4 trained associate photographers. We shoot Sony mirrorless with a variety of zoom lenses, vintage film camera (black and white), and a Fuji Instax (Polaroid) which we gift images to our couples the same day.
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
FREE within Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
For areas outside of this, hotel, airfare and car rentals are passed through to the client.
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
Albums and print packages are additional and optional.
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?
1 day 20+ hand-edited images are delivered in a sneak peek gallery. Final gallery delivery in 4 weeks.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
A full copy of my contract can be previewed and downloaded so that you're comfortable moving forward.
