1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hello I'm Michael Mills founder and owner of Michael Mills Photography based out of Akron Ohio.
As a child growing up I was always into viewing my mother and fathers photo albums and realized at early age what photos mean as far as capturing memories. At the time of the picture it may not mean much but as time passes they mean more and more. So even as a child I always carried some type of camera and loved to take photos not really realizing it was a passion until I got older and was searching for a photographer for my own wedding. Still searching for my career I realized that photography was my purpose and what I loved to do. I have been doing photography for 8 years now and I love what I do. I love interacting with couples getting to know them and learning exactly what they are looking to receive and bringing their visions to life.
2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
I have been doing wedding for 7 years now and have done over 70 weddings.
3. How would you describe your photography style?
I like to consider myself a candid photographer, I love capturing emotions in pictures. I specialize in not being noticed while I take my picture so people dont know that they are being photographed and I can capture them in there natural element and photographing all emotions and feelings in the picture so when the picture is viewed you will know exactly what that person was feeling at the moment. Only time I like my subject to know of my presence is when we are doing formal pictures in which I like to capture a love story while also having fun. I love fun pictures where the couples can be there self and show exactly what kind of couple they are.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
The sooner the better, the last thing you would want is to inquire about a date that is already booked up.
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
My packages are based on hours of service needed, everything else is a add-on. My philosophy is give the customer what they want at a fair price, and have fun doing it.
6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
I photograph and edit all weddings personally myself.
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
I travel for free up to 1 hour from my studio, anything further than that I can create a custom package depending where the wedding will take place. I also do destination weddings. Gas, flight, hotels will be talked about during consultation.
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
All packages include high- resolution edited pictures with all rights to the entire photo link. Photo albums and prints can be purchased seperate or you can create your own when you receive you pictures.
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?
I always tell my couples 6-8 weeks depending on what season it is but I usually deliver sooner.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Cancellations just all depend how far from your date you cancel, I do understand some things cant go detected and are out of your control so I have worked with clients in the past where full refunds were given.
