HELLLLO, love birds!!!
I am so excited that you are here! I just wanted to introduce myself as the owner and lead photographer of JayBird Photography. Lead?! What!! YES. There is more than one of me (well, kind of)... My husband Seth, and I started this business together back in 2017 when we got married. RIGHT BEFORE I finished college! I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Photographic Arts. I have been doing photography for the last 6 years but professionally under JayBird Photography for 3+ years. We are soon to re-brand our entire company into a more generalized and more inclusive production company so stay tuned for summer of 2021 when we will be introducing our new business to the world! We are so excited! JayBird Photography currently specializes in wedding and couples photography. We don't just photograph in Tulsa, Oklahoma - we photograph all over the world! We've photographed beautiful humans all the way in Taiwan to west coast of California, and back over to New York City and down again! We have a few solid members of our JayBird team that you have probably met if you've been around with us for awhile - but if not, I cannot wait to introduce you to my whole crew!
We are ready to take on 2021, and we are BEYOND ready to capture new beautiful faces this year, and previous beautiful faces we are used to seeing.

2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
JayBird Photography has specialized in wedding and couples photography for 3+ years! We have photographed over 125+ weddings, about 220+ couples in general!
We are ALL about the love, and all about capturing the spark between you and your boo!
3. How would you describe your photography style?
JayBird Photography has a unique style! We hand edit each picture individually in Photoshop not only doing color editing, but retouching as well! We can match our style with whatever our clients are wanting. Most of our clients LOVE our look and style we put out on a day-to-day basis!! That style is warm, vibrant, true to color, with a kiss of moodiness to put a cherry on top of every image we deliver!
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
The BEST time to book your wedding photographer is RIGHT after you've picked the date, and locked down the location of where you will say your vows and marry your forever (and after you've talked budget with your boo).
JayBird Photography does have peak booking months during the year! During January, February, July, & December is when we find ourselves trying to keep our heads above water keeping up with inquiries and bookings!
Because we photograph elopements and weddings, we sometimes book weeks in advance, or even a couple years! It is NEVER too early to reach out to your dream photographer to ask their availability for your beautiful day!
MOST couples prefer to get married on Saturdays! I find April, May, June, September, October, & December have always been our busiest months to capture love (and get booked the quickest)!
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
Most the collections with JayBird Photography can be custom to fit your needs! We can include prints, albums, canvases, or any other cool wall art or card designs you can think of. If you choose one of our already created collections, you can expect to have a certain amount of hour coverage, *1-2 photographers, *videographer, print credit for our online store to your personal gallery, a private reveal session of your wedding gallery, an engagement session, editing included, online galleries, proofing galleries, and more! Our packages start at $3000 and range to $8000. It really depends what you want! Every single wedding is different, BECAUSE every single couple we have is different - this is why we cater our packages to the needs of the couple!
6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
Usually, I am the one playing the role of the lead photographer. My husband usually plays the role of second photographer or videographer! We sometimes have double wedding days, and we will have a couple others that we contract out to photograph our couples perfect day, but I ALWAYS do the editing! Our clients can expect to have at least two of us there from our team at every wedding!
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
DEFINITELY! We LOVE a good destination wedding! We've traveled worldwide to capture love! No distance is too far! Travel fees are included in some of our packages up to a certain distance (usually 240 miles round trip) - but with plane tickets being so inexpensive lately, we've actually been able to save our couples out of state/country lots of money by cutting travel fees that they would usually have to cover for us (so that has been a HUGE blessing, not only for us and our bank accounts - but our love birds as well).
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
They are add-ons! BUT we do offer print credit with EVERY single session purchased (including weddings, family portraits, senior sessions, and more).
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?
Delivery time depends on the event and the time of year! Usually you can expect a regular session back within two weeks, you would receive a proofing gallery, choose your images, and then I would edit within a 2-6 week time period for our clients! For weddings, we try to give a sneak peek session the night of the wedding, or within the week (pending travel, local, etc). Full wedding galleries are typically ready within 4-8 weeks. ALL galleries (final and proofing galleries) are delivered digitally on my private platform and can be password protected! In the gallery, it can be shared with family members, social platforms, or downloaded straight to your phone. You can see proofs of prints, and other tangible items in your private gallery store! No more playing the middle man for getting grandma some pictures from the wedding! She can order directly from the link you send her as well.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Our cancellation and refund policy is written in every single contract that each one of our clients are required to sign before they can be an official client of JayBird Photography.
