1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hi! I'm Elizabeth Couch I am a Fort Worth wedding photographer, specializing in true-to -color photography. I am also a wife, mom and four-time Emmy Award-Winning public relations professional.
One of my biggest passions in life is preserving memories through bold, beautiful, romantic & timeless photography. As a kid, I would look through old family photos for hours at a time. Those images gave me overwhelming joy. My hope is that couples will choose me to preserve your most precious memories and their images make them as happy as they were the date I captured them!
2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
Although I had always been fascinated with photographs and cameras, it wasn't until 2007 when I picked up a DSLR for the first time. A photo from my first assignment at a journalism workshop at The University of Oklahoma went on to win a national competition hosted by the Dow Jones News Fund. I began shooting weddings in 2010 and have photographed dozens, too many to count really!
3. How would you describe your photography style?
I classify my shooting style as a mix of classic and photojournalistic. That means I love to take candid shots throughout the day, but prefer classic and romantic posed images for formal portraits.
I classify my editing style as “true-to-color with a pop.” I draw inspiration from true-to-color and film emulation editing techniques. My goal is to have your images accurately represent what you saw on your wedding day with slight and natural-looking enhancements.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
You should book your photographer as soon as you have a venue and a date. The more time in advance the better. However, if you're a last minute planner, you can always check with your top picks and see their availability. You never know!
