1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hi I'm Sam Pack, I'm the Owner of Sam Pack Photography. I've been a wedding photographer for over 7 years. I started as a mentee and spent some time 2nd shooting with photographers all over Washington to make sure I was prepared to be the best wedding photographer I could be for my couples. I work towards a more personal connection with my couples, we have our calls and video chats before I even meet them in person for photos. I think building trust between myself and my couples is how I am able to get the authentic moments people see I'm my photographs. My love of weddings has only grown over the years and I feel so lucky to have this job. Weddings will always my passion, I've even started photographing Elopements! I offer various wedding packages and make customized packages for my couples.
2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
I've been shooting weddings for over 7 years. And I lost count after 80!
3. How would you describe your photography style?
I would describe my photography style as warm, moody, romantic, with authentic emotions.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
The right time to book a wedding photographer is right after you have a wedding date and venue! My peak booking months are March and April, and I usually get booked 1 year to 6 months in advance. Saturdays in June are the days I usually book up first, and then Saturdays in October are the second to go.
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
For traditional wedding I have 3 Wedding Collections to choose from. They are 6, 8, and 10 hours with the options to add on an engagement session, a second shooter, or an all day Content Creation Assistant. I also offer Elopement Packages from 3 to 6 hours (with the option to add on hours), and the Elopement Collection includes my assistance with timeline and location scouting, travel fee, and a list of elopement vendors. It has the option to add on a second shooter and full day all access elopement planning.
6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
I am the Main Photographer on your wedding day. I do have two trusted second shooter who are apart of my team when a couple would like two photographers or they book my 10 hour wedding collection.
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
I do have a travel fee for Wedding or Elopements that are over 60 miles of travel for me. I charge $30 for every additional hour of travel to and from the final destination.
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
They are not included, but all my wedding packages include a 1 hour video session where I help couples edited and choose photos for their albums that are offered in my online store.
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?
This is always a tricky question to answer. My contract gives my 3-4 months to deliver a final gallery, but i really try my best to get a final gallery in 6 weeks. This is a tricky question because I have two busy months out of the year where I am fully booked and galleries could take longer than 6 weeks. But, the good news is that I give all my couples a "sneak peek" ONE DAY after their wedding or elopement date. And I always ask my couples if there were any particular photos they wanted to see that were not included in that sneak peek, and try to deliver that ASAP.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
If a couple cancels and I am unable to photograph their new day I will try my best to refund everything except the retainer fee. It will just depend on the date of the cancellation and how close it was to the wedding date, and if i had to turn away another potential couple that wanted the date they chose.
