1. Introduction: What's your story?
Soon To Be Wed is named after founder Xuan McMartin, who's first name is pronounced like the word "soon". As an Inland Empire native, Xuan first opened Soon To Be Wed in Downtown Riverside in 2015, making a mark on the wedding industry since her arrival. In 2021, Soon To Be Wed headquarters made the move back to Xuan's hometown of Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Xuan's passion for weddings and her impeccable organizational skills makes Soon To Be Wed a well sought-out wedding planning business for local couples.
Xuan enjoys staying up-to-date with the latest wedding trends and styles. Her friendly and easy-going personality makes it comfortable for couples to plan and communicate together.
2. What's your experience as a wedding planner? How many weddings have you planned?
I have been planning and coordinating weddings since 2014 and have done well over 150 weddings since! From catring mishaps to missing wedding rings, I have tackled every wedding day obstacle, magically making them dissappear. My experience in working so many weddings all over Southern California, I bring a professional expertise in knowing exactly what your wedding day needs to make it run smoothly!
3. What sorts of services do you offer (month-of coordination, full-service planning, or à la carte planning)?
Soon To Be Wed is located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and specializes in creating beautiful and memorable days. From full-service planning packages to decorating anniversary parties, our team is dedicated to creating a seamless event. We can take care of any of your event needs including: wedding ceremonies, wedding planning, sweet 16s, quinceaneras, fashion shoots, school reunions and dances, and all other events!
4. How do payments work (a percentage of the wedding budget, a flat fee etc.)? What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
PAYMENTS:
After your initial wedding consultation, we will go over and sign a contract with you and your non-refundable deposit will be due at that time to reserve your wedding date. After that, you are welcome to make payments as your leisure with the remaining balance due in full 10 days before your wedding day. I accept Zelle, cash and check payments.

1. Wedding Coordinating - Coordination 1-6 Months Prior **Our most popular package!
Day-of-wedding coordination is one of our most popular packages that take the stress out of your wedding day. Our talented and professional team is here to make sure your wedding vision turns out exactly the way you planned it.
2. Wedding Planning - Coordination Throughout Engagement
Soon To Be Wed offers both Partial Wedding Planning and Full Wedding Planning Packages. Both packages give our bride the attention they need to plan their wedding from start to finish. From vendors to the creating a cohesive look, your wedding will be just as you imagined.
3. Timeline Coordination - Coordination Begins 1-2 Months Prior to Your Wedding
Our Timeline Coordination is perfect for the couple that has all their details in place and will be handling their own decor and setup. Our coordination team arrives one hour prior to start time and will remain until cake cutting to ensure that all of your wedding highlights happen and that your wedding runs smoothly!
4. Details & Extras - A La Carte Services

5. Who else is in your team and how many people on your staff will be at the wedding?
Soon to Be Wed consists of owner/lead planner and coordinator, Xuan. I also have an amazing coordinator assistant, Danielle, who helps at all weddings with extensive detaols or over 120 guest count. Depending on the size and scale of your wedding, there may be additional assistants required.
6. What happens if you're sick or otherwise unable to be there on the day of the wedding?
If I were sick or somehow unable to be there on the day of your wedding, my lead assisitant and coordiantor Danielle, would take my place and be there for your wedding day. Danielle has worked with me on countless weddings and I have complete 100% trust and faith that she will take care of you and your wedding as I would.
7. How many meetings will you have with the couple and how will they be involved?
Partial Wedding Planning - Starts at $3000+
The Partial Wedding Planning Package is perfect for someone who has already booked their venue and caterer and would like some trusted advice in choosing the rest of the vendors (photographer, florist, music, transportation, rentals, photo booth, etc).

*6 In Person Meeting Before the Wedding - One of these meetings will be your booking with venue walk through.
*Vendor Meeting Coordination - We setup vendor meetings, order your rentals, schedule payment plans and ensure all of their requirements have been submitted (insurance liability, business license, etc.)
*Wedding Vision Creation- We become your go-to wedding planning bestfriend and help you with every step of planning your wedding look and decor. We love taking your wedding Pinterest board and putting together a plan to make your dreams a reality.
*Provided Unlimited Communication for Your Vendors
*Transport Gifts & Cards to Designated Vehicle
*Full Day of Service on Your Wedding Day - We are here from the beginning to check in vendors as they arrive until your sparkler send off when you leave for your happily ever after.
Full Wedding Planning - Starts at $4500+
The Full Wedding Planning Package is perfect for someone who wants help with every aspect of planning their wedding. Our full wedding planning package covers all the details of your wedding from finding the perfect venue to attending vendor meetings on your behalf.
What it Includes:
*Everything in the Day of Wedding Coordinator Package.
*Everything in the Partial Wedding Planning Package - Please see above package for details.
*8 In Person Meeting Before the Wedding - One of these meetings will be your booking with vision discussion.
*Venue Scouting and Touring - We take your vision and your budget and will scout out the perfect wedding for you to say "I Do." Soon To Be Wed will setup appointments that work with your schedule and accompany you touring the different venues.
*Caterer Selection - We find out the cuisine and budget you are aiming for and select professional catering companies that fit your needs for you to choose from. We setup tastings and can also attend them on your behalf.
*Negotiate Rates at Local Hotels - To get the best deals and room blocks for your out-of-town guests.
8. Will you handle the invitations, from wording and ordering to the addressing and mailing? What about guest list coordination and RSVPs?
Wedding Invitation and RSVPS can be handled by Soon To Be Wed for an additional fee.
9. Do you handle rentals? Will you coordinate delivery, arrival and set up times with the photographer, the florist, the musicians and the caterer/banquet manager?
Soon To Be Wed handles all vendor delivery/arrival/setup times in both of our wedding planning packages. In our wedding coordination package we will reach out to all vendors one week prior to your wedding to confirm times that you have setup with them and to give them all needed information for timeline and setup ares for your wedding.
10. Can you create a timeline that tells everyone involved in the planning process (other pros, members of the wedding party, to-be-weds and families) what to do and when to do it? How will you make sure everyone sticks to the schedule?
We create a simple timeline with all events and times for you and your vendors to easily see what happens and when. In our wedding planning package, we create an even more detailed tineline that shows when wedding vendors will arrive/setup/breakdown and all details for the wedding party and families. Our coordination team is here to help keep the wedding party on time with reminders and check-ins. We call vendors that are running late to check-in and get an immediate ETA to be able to determine our next steps.
