Hi, this is Herbert Zhu from A Colored Mind Wedding Films. I think it was not too hard for me to get where I am today professionally after shooting wedding for 6 years, I don't push myself too hard, but I constantly make my skill better, thinking about a new idea or a new way to move the camera, I'll make a note on my phone immediately, otherwise that idea might be gone forever.

I've learned many things along the way to be honest, but the most important one for me is to always try something new, something unique.
We can be the best and the greatest in the world, but if our talent is not directed by love, if our capacity is not framed by love, then we are wasting out time. So no matter what we do, it needs to be directed by love.

2. How long have you been filming weddings? How many weddings have you filmed?

6 years, around 5oo.

3. How would you describe your videography style?

Cinematic.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding videographer?

at least one year.

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

6 hours is the most popular one.

6. Are you the wedding videographer who will be filming on the wedding day? How many camera people and cameras will be operating on the day?

Yes, I'll be the one filming on the wedding day, and I solo most of the time.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

I do charge travel fee but that depends on location, if it's Seattle for example, then the travel fee will include flight, hotel and car rental.

8. How do you back-up your footage to ensure no footage is lost and for how long do you keep the footage after the wedding?

I backup footage to another hard drive after wedding day and I never delete raw footage.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the video? And how will the video be delivered?

Turn around time is 2 months, and the highlight video will be delivered via google drive.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

The client reserves the right to terminate the contract for any reason at any time up to the date of the event, and booking fee is not refundable unless Herbert Zhu cancels the contract.

If Herbert Zhu fail to comply with the terms of this agreement due to any event beyond control of Herbert Zhu, including but not limited to illness, accident, labor disputes, acts of God and other catastrophes, or uncontrollable and unforeseeable equipment failure, Herbert Zhu’s liability is limited only to a refund of all monies received except the booking fee.
