1. Introduction: What's your story?

I was working for a large company producing training films when I was asked to film a wedding. The bride loved the finished film so much she cried. That moved me so much that I started a new company to focus on weddings and have gone on to film more than 3000 weddings in 26 countries and was named One of the Top 25 Event Videographers in the World. Best job ever!

2. How long have you been filming weddings? How many weddings have you filmed?

I was hooked on the magic of the wedding celebration since filming my first one in 1986. People were genuinely happy and with attitudes and emotions being contagious, so was I. Since then, my company has gone on to film more than 3000 weddings traveling to 32 states and 26 countries.

3. How would you describe your videography style?

We believe your most prized possessions are not really things at all. Your most prized possessions are the memories of your celebrations, adventures and people you love. The wedding celebration is the most important day of your life and full of great moments. The challenge is all memories fade and most eventually disappear. We are storytellers and focus on much more than the pretty flowers and cake but on the genuine emotions of the day that can't be posed or staged...they just happen naturally...and so do our wedding films.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding videographer?

When a potential client asks when should they reserve our filmmaking services. I always respond "Before somebody else does :)" I think we've all experienced the disappointment of not getting the professional with whom we have confidence in to work with. Like when you go to see your dentist and he is out that day and they give you somebody you don't know. The mechanic you like at the car dealer you've been seeing for years no longer works there or you can no longer find that great stylist who is your favorite. If you delay hiring the professional you really want for your wedding, you may have to settle for your second choice or worse.

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

We have one basic package that includes full coverage and a polished edited film with digital links for downloading and sharing. This package can be customized.

6. Are you the wedding videographer who will be filming on the wedding day? How many camera people and cameras will be operating on the day?

We will provide as many cameras and videographers needed to produce a great film. I know that's different than most companies but we approach it the same way a filmmaker approaches making a film. They will assess what is needed for each scene and make sure they have it. Will more cameras make your wedding video better? Maybe, but maybe not. We have a ton of equipment and can easily access all the equipment we need to do it right. Typically our clients won't know how many camera angles or microphones will be best and they shouldn't have to know. All they really need to know is a filmmaker committed to delivering the best quality film possible with the experience and proven track record to make it happen. Just to be clear....that's us :)

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

No fee for Southern California or Puerto Rico but most of the 26 countries we have filmed in have required a fee. Travel fee will vary by location.

8. How do you back-up your footage to ensure no footage is lost and for how long do you keep the footage after the wedding?

We film with redundancy filming on two recording devices simultaneously which are backed up to a hard drive, raid system and offsite cloud storage. We know how important these memories are and will become.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the video? And how will the video be delivered?

Making a quality film requires great content and skilled editing which can take some time to do it right. After a few weeks, you will receive a digital link for downloading and sharing your custom Wedding Film!

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

We always work with our clients and are generally more accommodating that our written policy which is "Deposits paid are not refundable but may be reapplied to available dates."
