1. Introduction: What's your story?

We are Sam and Madison Martin (aka Martin Media Group), a husband and wife wedding videography team based in Louisville, Kentucky! We met in college and to save some money at our own wedding, we had a friend film our big day and we edited it ourselves into our first wedding highlight video (supported by Sam's film degree and years of video experience). This led us to decide to start Martin Media Group so we could continue capturing love stories for others!

2. How long have you been filming weddings? How many weddings have you filmed?

We started our business in 2019 -- to date we have filmed 15 weddings despite both of us working full time jobs outside of wedding video and a global pandemic!

3. How would you describe your videography style?

We strive to make our videos authentically romantic, to reflect the vibe of each individual couple! Every couple and every wedding is different so while filming, we act as flies on the wall to capture big moments and little candid moments and everything in between. We want our highlight videos to be a reminder of how the couple remembers their big day.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding videographer?

We typically like to book about 6 months to 1 year in advance.

We offer three packages, all of which can be customized with various add on options.

6. Are you the wedding videographer who will be filming on the wedding day? How many camera people and cameras will be operating on the day?

Every package comes with 2 videographers, co-founders of the company.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

Travel fees are negotiated on a case by case basis

8. How do you back-up your footage to ensure no footage is lost and for how long do you keep the footage after the wedding?

We keep footage for up to a year after the wedding on a secure server.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the video? And how will the video be delivered?

We offer a competitive 3 week delivery time. Highlight videos are initially posted on our Facebook and Youtube pages for sharing purposes on social media. Additional content (ceremony/toasts/dances) as well as the highlight video will be delivered via downloadable link. DVD's or USB delivery methods can be requested at an additional cost.
