1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hi, we're Elijah and Nicole, founders and owners of Catch Love Weddings. We both come from corporate photo and video backgrounds and have been providing professional media for organizations across the country since 2012.
We are a couple-run company, and began working together capturing weddings in 2017 after a family member asked if we could provide photo and video for their wedding on a budget. We were quickly booked by all of our friends, and realized that there was a need for quality wedding media at affordable prices. For the last 4 years we have provided wedding videography, photography, and live streaming services throughout the Southwest.
2. How long have you been filming weddings? How many weddings have you filmed?
We have been filming weddings since 2017 and have filmed 75 weddings in that time.
3. How would you describe your videography style?
Our vibrant yet natural style captures all of the beauty of the wedding day with honesty and accuracy, so couples can look back at their videos and feel instantly transported to their big event. We hand-color, tone and touch up all of our videos and photos to ensure that couples look their best and the videos look amazing. Our hands-off approach allows us to capture all the special moments of the day while allowing couples to relax and enjoy their wedding.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding videographer?
While we do try to accommodate last-minute bookings if we have availability, couples usually book our service 18-20 months in advance. Saturdays in the fall and spring are usually the first to fill up.
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
Here are our basic packages, we offer discounts to couples who book multiple services. Our most popular package is our Full Day Video Package, which includes coverage of the entire wedding day and 3 fully edited wedding videos:
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Wedding Ceremony Photography- $1,100 (+ tax)

6. Are you the wedding videographer who will be filming on the wedding day? How many camera people and cameras will be operating on the day?
We are the videographers on the wedding day and we have videography assistants who join us at the wedding ceremony. For our Full Wedding Day Video Package, we will have 2 videographers present for getting ready, and an assistant who will capture additional venue footage and join us for the wedding ceremony. We bring 4-5 cameras and our drone to most weddings (depending on capacity limits and the limitations of the venue).
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
We do charge a travel fee. The fee is based on mileage, time for traveling and lodging if we need to stay overnight.
8. How do you back-up your footage to ensure no footage is lost and for how long do you keep the footage after the wedding?
All of our footage is kept on the SD card it is recorded on until the final product is delivered to our clients. It is then stored on a cloud drive (which is available to our clients for 6 months after the wedding) and then backed up to 2 separate hard drives. We keep the weddings backed up to 2 hard drives for 18 months and then to one hard drive indefinitely.
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the video? And how will the video be delivered?
For the Full Day Video Package we deliver 3 wedding videos. We deliver the sneak peek within 10 days, and the two remaining videos in 4-6 weeks. The type of wedding ceremony impacts the time it takes to deliver the final videos (traditional services that are over an hour in length will take longer to finish than shorter, non-traditional ceremonies). We deliver our videos as MP4s via digital download link.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
We request a 20% non-refundable deposit. The couple does not owe any additional money for cancellations.
