1. Introduction: What's your story?

I've had a fascination and love for cinema since I was a kid. About ten years ago, the wedding industry pushed for a more creative approach to videography. No more camcorders. Clients craved a higher end look, compelling visuals, candid human emotion crafted into a story. I'd spent years working in narrative mediums and saw this as an opportunity to broaden my horizons, and thus, WeCinema Films was born.

2. How long have you been filming weddings? How many weddings have you filmed?

WeCinema Films was founded in 2015 and we've filmed over 250 weddings.

3. How would you describe your videography style?

We describe our style as candid and cinematic. We want the images to look great, but not overly directed or staged. Wedding videography is all about being reactionary. Catching moments on the fly. We'll step in if need be, but are favorite moments are most often when the clients aren't paying attention to us. From pre-production through post-production, we're constantly on the lookout for images and moments that help communicate the couple's unique story.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding videographer?

At least six months.

6. Are you the wedding videographer who will be filming on the wedding day? How many camera people and cameras will be operating on the day?

We have a team of five first shooter and six second shooters. Our packages start with a single shooter, but you can add a second shooter if you'd like.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

We charge a travel fee for weddings outside NYC.

8. How do you back-up your footage to ensure no footage is lost and for how long do you keep the footage after the wedding?

We've keep footage for 3 years and we have everything backed up on multiple hard drives.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the video? And how will the video be delivered?

8-10 weeks unless otherwise specified.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

We require a $500 deposit for all events. In the event of cancellation, the deposit is forfeited.
