1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hey, I'm Anthony DiFonzo but you can call me Tonio.
I've been filming videos since I was a little kid. My love for film eventually brought me to filming weddings. I've been capturing couples tie the knot for about 7 years and I love every aspect of it. I've met numerous couples, wedding vendors, and guests through-out the years and it's given me great experiences both professionally and personally.
I consider myself a hopeless romantic so creating wedding films is something I truly enjoy being a part of. That's Amore' Films references not only my Italian heritage that I'm so very proud of but also relates to the Italian inspired style of my films. High end, unique, artistic, and elegant. Whenever I have the privilege of documenting two people finalizing their love for each other, I strive to work endlessly and passionately.
Experienced, creative, hardworking, easy-going, and stress-free are what make me a great wedding videographer. I try to keep a low profile as much as possible while still getting the shots needed to make a beautiful wedding film. Many promises will be made on a wedding day and my promise is to deliver a film that can be cherished for a lifetime.
2. How long have you been filming weddings? How many weddings have you filmed?
I've been filming and editing weddings for 8 years. I started out working for another wedding company as an intern in college. I learned from one of the bests which gave me the confidence to start my own wedding videography business. Thats Amore Films was founded 6 years ago.
3. How would you describe your videography style?
My videography has a variety of different styles. When I first started out, my films were more traditional and colorful. The more weddings I captured, the more comfortable I became with taking chances. If I never had the courage to take risks, my films wouldn't be what they are today.
My films typically follow the linear timeline of the wedding day but they do so in an edgy yet elegant way. The inspiration behind my brand and style comes from my Italian heritage. Of course, every wedding film is different, but the main similarities to making every one of my films great are my artistic eye & epic story telling.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding videographer?
Couples that want to book my services should do so at least 6 months in advance, especially with COVID nearing an end. I believe the wedding industry will be booming these next couple years. I'm already receiving inquiries for 2023 so I truly recommend booking as far out as possible to secure a date.
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
I offer 5 main video packages that are listed on my website. My most common package is The Tuscany Package because it includes 2 videographers and 8 hours of wedding day coverage. I do offer the option to customize a package as well.
6. Are you the wedding videographer who will be filming on the wedding day? How many camera people and cameras will be operating on the day?
I will be the one to show up and film your wedding day as well as edit your wedding film no matter which video package is selected. If the video package includes 2 videographers then me and a second shooter would be filming on the wedding day. The amount of cameras used also depends on the video package. Multi-cam setups can range from 2-3 cameras.
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
Since I am based in Austin, I do charge a travel fee for anything thats more than an hour and a half away. However, I do not charge a travel fee to Dallas. Travel fees include gas costs and time spent.
8. How do you back-up your footage to ensure no footage is lost and for how long do you keep the footage after the wedding?
I back up all of the wedding footage to 3 different hard drives. Once the final films are finished, I hang on to the raw footage for 2 months. I have to make room for new wedding footage but before I delete the old raw footage, I typically reach out to the couple to see if they'd like to purchase it before it's deleted. If they decide on purchasing it, I will then mail them a hard drive. I always keep the finished edited films though.
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the video? And how will the video be delivered?
My turn around time is 2-3 months. Once the film is finished, it will be uploaded online and the couple will be able to download it for safe keeping.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Once a deposit is paid, the contract is valid & the date is reserved permanently for the client. If the client chooses to terminate the contract, absolutely no refunds will be available to the client for any reason.
