Hi, I’m Kimberly!

I love planning weddings and creating happy memories for my clients on their special day!

I have a unique background in theater, specifially musical theater, as well as 2 degrees in the computer field. I can’t live without technology. My love of theater combined with my passion for technology, helps me understand how to set the stage for an amazing ceremony while also being able to keep track of all of the small details that ensure that everything runs smoothly.

After several years of helping friends & co-workers execute their weddings and planning my wedding for my 1st marriage, in 2007 I opted to go all in, drafting my mom as my partner. We were blessed to join up with a local group of wedding professionals and have been with them since 2010. we opened our own barn venue in 2016 leading me to launch A Southern Engagement as a solo endeavor in 2017.
