I grew up in a divided home, literally. Splitting time between my parents after their divorce, often being in the middle of their fighting, made me grow into a very empathetic person. It’s become the biggest strength I take with me into wedding days. My documentary style stems from my ability to sense when special moments are about to happen. I am able to sense emotions that aren’t necessarily visible, sense when to come close and when to be a fly-on-the-wall, and sense what/who is important to you therefore important to photograph.

A true asset for your wedding day
Caitlyn is beyond amazing, from the moment she got to the venue she got to work and she really did just make the process so much easier. She kept the ...entire group on schedule. Which is no easy task my friends I love them but boy oh boy do we have a hard time staying on task
Beyond that Caitlyn made sure I hate food throughout the day and made sure I was okay. I am thankful she made sure I are at least a little bit because she got some great photos from that!
Caitlyn captured some of the most meaningful pictures for me on my wedding day. One of which was my grandmas signature. It was nice to get that photo of me holding her picture with her signature because I very much miss her. Caitlyn made this photo look so beautiful along with my first looks. I did a lot of first looks but my one with my brothers and my dad really are tear jerker for me. Especially with my dad he tried so hard to not cry and I just really am glad i had that special moment with him. My brothers were just absolutely shocked and i love seeing the photo of them hugging me and how excited i was about how dapper they looked. I especially appreciated the first look with my mother in law, everyone says she caught her love for me so well and how surprised she was to see me all dolled up. She captured her giving me a beautiful family heirloom of a waterfall ring.
Caitlyn is just such an asset to a wedding day I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing my wedding photos. My friends loved her my parents loved her, she is truly amazing!

Moments Captured Beautifully
With weddings sometimes they can be stressful and tense. Caitlyn was so amazing in helping this panicked bride on her wedding day. She was so patient,... kind, and had great ideas for taking photos. She even captured photos I didn't even think of!

Caitlyn was great! The scheduling process was smooth and easy. She was always quick to respond. She made us both feel very comfortable during our Enga...gement session and at our Wedding/reception! Her photos turned out amazing and she took so many! I loved looked through all of them. She was so helpful too on the day of. She was easy to work with and super helpful with the timeline and also with trying to figure out an alternative to our sparkler exit since it was raining. It all worked out and we are so thankful for her help and beautiful photos. I can't recommend Caitlyn enough.

I am obsessed with Caitlyn
Listen…. When I tell you I am OBSESSED with Caitlyn Cloud Photography I don’t even think you understand. We first met Caitlyn at my sisters weddin...g and were blown away by her professionalism and skills. When it came to our wedding I knew I had to have Caitlyn. She was the first vendor I booked before I had anything planned, and it was the best decision!
They say you’re wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye. And nothing has ever been more true. Luckily,
Caitlyn is not just a photographer, she is a story teller. Looking through our photos I laughed and I cried, but mostly I relived our most magical day! She has this remarkable talent for identifying the most special unplanned moments that you never want to forget. She does not just capture images, she captures feelings. I can look at these photos and remember all the emotions I was experiencing.
Caitlyn was extremely flexible with changing plans, and a bride that could not make up her mind sometimes. She wrangled family, and kids. She has the most calming presence that made me feel so relaxed from the second she walked in the door.
If you need photos for any occasion I would HIGHLY recommend Caitlyn. We will defiantly be using her again for any and all photography.

We are so happy we picked Caitlyn!
When we started our wedding process we knew we wanted a great photographer. We did a lot of research and narrow it down to 3 photographer. We intervi...ewed three photographers then decided on Caitlyn Cloud. We so thankful that we did. Beaides her being an amazing photographer we have the same worldly views as her and that was important to us. She is a very planned out photographer. The whole process was very easy. We did our engagement photos and our wedding photos with her. For our engagement photos she sent us an email to help with ideas of what to wear and to make the session more unique to us. Then for the wedding she emailed us a form to fill out about who was going to be in each photo. We loved this because wedding days are so crazy and they move so fast so it helped that she's a very organized person. We had never taken professional photos together before our engagement photos. Caitlyn did a great job helping us not feel awkward in front of the camera. Then for our wedding we were even more comfortable with her. Caitlyn is also really good with people in the wedding party that think they are the ones in charge when they aren't. She's able to the photo session moving in a timely matter. We couldn't believe how fast we got our photos back and they look amazing! She did such an amazing job. We would recommend her to anyone. We also got the package where there were two photographer. Our other photographer was really good too. We would highly recommend getting the package with both photographer. Still to this day we get so many compliments on our photos and the way Caitlyn handled everything. If we could hire her again for different photo session we totally would!

Why wouldn’t you choose Caitlyn Cloud?
I just have to say if you don’t have Caitlyn Cloud as one of your wedding vendors then you are just straight up missing out. The wedding industry ca...n be intimidating because everyone just expects that you have already read the 500 articles (with all different opinions I must add) or even had a wedding to tell you what you want and don’t want. Caitlyn was a breath of fresh air and never made you feel dumb for the questions that you asked and tried her best to not only answer the questions asked but give solutions based on her knowledge in the wedding industry.
When I first reached out to Caitlyn I didn’t know her personally, but knew her husband from college and had been following her photography page since I think she started it. She was super bubbly and a warm soul to talk to and thoroughly laid out all of the options for us without ever pressuring us to go with her or go with a certain package. I knew right after the first phone call that I had to have Caitlyn as our wedding photographer! After booking we set up an engagement session and Caitlyn worked with us to do that on a day that she was already going to be in Wichita so that we wouldn’t have to pay a travel fee or go up to KC. The session itself was so amazing and she made us feel so comfortable that there were even times we forgot that she was there to take pictures. She had so many great prompts that got genuine expressions out of my husband and I, and you could feel the expressions through the photos. A couple hours after the session we had a sneak peek and I cannot rant and rave enough about how phenomenal the pictures were and most of them are still at the top of my list of favorite pictures of Matthew and I. We were expecting a couple months before we got the whole gallery back and this amazing woman got them back to us in 2 weeks!!
Caitlyn made sure to check in with us regularly and see if there was anything that she could do to help us. Her emails never came across as annoying and was like a best friend reaching out to make sure that things were going well. Throughout the engagement time Caitlyn provided helpful checklists and tips for not only wedding planning but also for the wedding itself. About a month before the wedding everyone was asking for a timeline to know what time certain things were going to happen. I was stressed out and was trying to use Caitlyn’s pre-made timelines and make them my own and ended up reaching out to her to set up a call. She was super quick to reply and during this phone call we worked through what I had already done and she added in suggestions based on what I wanted my wedding day to look like (again with no pressure to do something I didn’t want). A couple weeks before the wedding she sent out a couple forms to be filled out with all the information for the day along with gathering names for family photos so that they can run quicker. She was so on top of her game and made me feel confident going into the day that we were both going to be on the same page.
The wedding day itself was a blur of be here, go there, do this and do that, but at the end of it I came away knowing that my wedding was over and that I can be done stressing. Caitlyn listened really well to what I wanted from the day and the things that I wanted to be captured and the one thing (besides knowing that my husband was going to be at the alter waiting for me) that I did not have to worry about was if Caitlyn was going to be able to capture my day how it was so that I could relive the day every time I flipped through the pictures. As if I haven’t already ranted and raved enough we got a sneak peek of our wedding picture THAT NIGHT, and then our whole wedding album A MONTH after our wedding. She genuinely cares about her couples and has become a great friend through this all. We are still getting compliments over our wedding photos and I can’t wait to come to Caitlyn for all of our other photo needs that come up in the future!
