FAQs

Yes, there is the potential to have two weddings on the same date. We have two reception venues and three ceremony spaces that are each private in their own area. When booking your wedding, the space(s) chosen are private to you. No other parties or guests besides your own are allowed in your space. Chankaska will work with the couples directly to make sure two or more parties stay separated. If you book your wedding first for that date, you get to choose your ceremony time first. Then any other ceremony would have to be an half hour to an hour different (we prefer an hour). Any areas that are open to the public will be accessible for both weddings. Chankaska will coordinate to make sure that the times are different from each other for access to those particular spaces.
Although our Winery is not pet friendly for sanitation purposes, we do allow you to bring your furry family member to walk down the aisle! They do have to leave the premise directly following the ceremony.
We have three required caterers to go through! We don't allow any outside caterers. You will work directly with the catering company to plan all your food options. This includes appetizers, dinner service and late night snack. You are allowed to bring in your own dessert from a licensed bakery. Proof of license is required. Please visit our website for the Preferred Vendor list for a list of our caterers.
Currently our services don't offer wedding coordinating. When booking, you will have a venue coordinator. The venue coordinator will be your contact for any venue questions up until the big day! They will be there to make sure the space is ready just how the two of you have planned! If you're looking for someone to watch your timeline, keep your bridal party on time, coordinate your ceremony and be a contact for other vendors, then we suggest a Day of Coordinator. We do have suggestions :)
The rental fee includes the rental both ceremony and reception spaces. You will have access to your reception space from 11a-11p and the ceremony starting at 11a to 5p. We provide the set up, tear down of all tables, chairs and a choice of white or black linens for the reception. For the ceremony we will do the set up and tear down of all chairs.
