Edit 6/15/22 just wanted to say they never made things right. NEVER even responded to my 4 different emails. It’s disappointing to say the least to ...spend that much money and never even getting an apology for messing up MY flowers for MY WEDDING (I’m glad you liked them though) and making me pay for a service I never received. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!
We got married 10/18/2021. Let me start off by saying the venue is beautiful. We decided to go with the gold all inclusive package which ended up being about seven thousand in the end due to us having a small guest count. We fell in love with the venue but to be honest if I knew what I know now we would have went elsewhere. We have been going back in forth with Tyler and Mary on what went wrong since 10/19/2021, and it has yet to be resolved and I have no hope that it will be. To begin with the original date was 11/2/2020 but due to Covid we decided it was best to transfer the date to 10/18/2021. We originally were going to do lavender, plum, and ivory for the color scheme. After changing our date, we decided to do a more fall color scheme. Burgundy and mustard yellow (I will add the invitation for reference) I messaged the florist about the color scheme change on 4/7/2021. She replied and said that was fine. (I still have the messages to prove this.) The day of the wedding the flowers were still the previous color scheme. Picture attached. The plum was more burgundish than plum so she ended up pulling the lavender flowers out at the wedding and I ended up with white and burgundish flowers. I spent the 775$ for flowers that I didn’t even want and was told the florist was never contacted in the beginning and then when I sent screenshots over of the conversation I was told there wasn’t “clear communication”. After saying that if there was a need for clarification that she could have just asked I was told that the flowers were pretty and matched with the wedding. We even asked for a partial refund, that we would still pay her for her time and labor and still nothing.
Secondly the all inclusive gold package was supposed to include a second photographer for 8 hours. The photographer forgot to hire a second photographer so we only had one. That was the ONLY reason we went with the gold package. This was extremely disappointing but I understand mistakes happen. We were offered a 300$ CREDIT but just don’t want to work with them again. We asked for a refund instead but have yet to get this issue resolved as well.
Honestly this whole experience has been disappointing. Not only the above mentioned but we have had to chase Tyler and Mary for a response. For example, I have emailed them 4 times since January 3rd and have yet to get a response. So I’m just being ignored at this point. Why has it taken 5 months with absolutely no resolution in sight? I just wanted to warn people of how things are handled if something goes wrong. Honestly, just go somewhere else.
