All wedding photographers are a mix of portrait and photojournalism photographers! Portrait because we photograph people whether it's the family photos, bride and groom or wedding party; photojournalism because we are often capturing unscripted moments like guests conversating, laughter coming from your best man's speech, etc. I like to be unobtrusive but I also like to make sure we are staying on task. So, I would call myself a "go-with-the-flow" photographer who helps to manage and create the flow.

This depends, so much, on how large your wedding is and the layout of your day. Will there be multiple locations, large wedding party, large families, how many guests? My most popular packages are my 7 and 9 hour packages. The question becomes do we add an additional photographer. Approximate half of my couples opt for a second photographer.

Engagement sessions are an excellent opportunity for us to get to know each other and understand exactly how fun the process can be! Some of my favorite spots include Encinitas, Swamis, South Ponto beach, Scripps Pier, La Jolla, Los Penasquitos Ranch House and Lake Hodges. I'm always up for someplace new!!!

The only list that I might need from you on your wedding day is a list of immediate family members along with extended family to ensure the family photo experience is smooth and efficient. Other than this we simply go with the flow of the day. I'm always happy to implement any thoughts or ideas you might have!

It fell into my lap without seeking it! I had always been very artistic with drawing and painting but never thought of utilizing photography as a medium. I started assisting my sister-in-law who was a photographer just for giggles and after seeing my work she said I should sincerely consider getting into it! Photographing people is a pretty miraculous thing. We get to capture this moment in time that will NEVER be the same again. :)
