"Do you require a deposit?"

Yes, a 30% retainer and signed contract reserves your wedding date. Final payment will be made a month in advance of your wedding day.

"Can you photograph in dark indoor venues?"

"Why is wedding photography so expensive?"

Years of continued education and investing in state of the art camera equipment doesn't come cheap for professional photographers. We take a lot of pride in our craft, both during the shoot and in the editing process. For each hour we photograph at your wedding, we spend another 1-2 hours culling, editing, and perfecting your photos so we can present a concise story of the day. If that is something you value, then investing in a quality wedding photographer is like investing in your first heirloom as a couple.

"Should we get engagement photos, even if we already sent out "Save the Dates"?"

I always recommend having a session with your wedding photographer before your wedding, for several reasons. The first is that you will get to know each other better before the chaos of your wedding day, and get more comfortable being in front of the camera. The second is that you can learn what to expect in terms of direction and posing. Finally, you can also review the photos from your engagement shoot and provide feedback to your photographer if there are things that you love, or would prefer not to repeat for poses. Overall, it builds up confidence in who you have helping you on your big day!

"I have a shorter wedding/or a really long wedding day. Can we customize the coverage in our package?"

Absolutely! The packages that I have available are based on common needs, but I always offer full customization for my clients. Let me know what you are looking for and I can accomodate to your needs.
