L&M Detailed Events is a wedding and event planning company in Louisville, Kentucky.

Melissa specializes in coordinating vendors and capturing the small details that go into making an event or wedding memorable. She is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Park Administration with a focus in Therapeutic Recreation. She completed her internship with a non-profit organization located in Boulder, Colorado. After returning back to Kentucky, she worked several years as an event coordinator for a senior living retirement community in Lexington. Melissa enjoys traveling, laughing, yoga and spending time with her husband, Jim, son Benjamin and their golden doodle, Wally.

Lorrie spent many years in the hospitality industry before finding her true passion as an event planner. She loves working with clients to turn their dreams into a reality. Her warm, enthusiastic personality and creativity have contributed to many successful events and weddings. Like most native Kentuckians, Lorrie enjoys watching UK sports and anything outdoors. She currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband, Brian, and three boys Landon, Jackson and Owen.
