My name is Darren Revell and I’m the owner here at Love + 1 Wedding DJs. Bringing great music to people has always been a passion of mine. So much, that I’ve been making a living at it my entire adult life. How long is that you ask? Let’s just say it’s over 20 years and leave it at that… Seriously though, I’ve been working in clubs and radio since the late ’80s. I started my own radio show called Big Sonic Heaven in 1995 and was proud to bring it to the Detroit and Los Angeles airwaves over the years. 22 years later and I’m still having fun being a DJ! There’s nothing like putting on the next song and watching the dance floor erupt in pure excitement! Weddings are especially fun since everyone is in a great mood celebrating with the newlyweds. I never get tired of playing music for a room full of happy people. It’s pretty awesome!

With all that I’ve learned and experienced over the years, I decided to create a company bringing together great DJs that share the same love for music and entertainment that I have. I wanted to avoid the wedding DJ cliches and create a team who understands the professionalism that comes with providing entertainment for the biggest day of your lives. We love what we do and want to share it with you and your guests. Simply put, we want your day to be amazing!
