Daniel assisted us with planning and DJ Mero was our fantastic wedding DJ. We could not be happier with the amazing service that we received. Daniel w...as flexible and easy to communicate with. He was able to accommodate all of the Hebrew songs that we requested. DJ Mero seamlessly mixed from the Spotify playlists that I requested. Everyone danced. Guests that I did not expect to dance were on the dancefloor having an AMAZING time. It was magical, and we owe it to Daniel and his team. The DJ facade was elegant. The sound was amazing. Luniks is the best!! We worked directly with Daniel and he helped to set us up so well for our wedding. He listened to our desires and exceeded them t...enfold. DJ Alex was our DJ for the day of and he was incredible! Our biggest hope was to have our dance floor packed all night and he was able to make that happen. He blended music seamlessly and created a great party atmosphere. Luniks Entertainment is the only DJ I would recommend to anyone.

We used Luniks Entertainment for our wedding and absolutely loved it. Daniel Luna, the owner, was super helpful and engaged from our very first meetin...g. He walked us through the cool software that they use to collect details and music information about the wedding and made sure that all of our questions were answered. He also checked in periodically with us as our date got closer to make sure we didn't have any remaining questions. When the original DJ we selected ended up having a family emergency the week of our wedding, Daniel personally stepped in and ended up DJing our wedding for us, and did a FANTASTIC job. He had the dance floor packed the entire night and was able to seamlessly blend the several genres of music we had requested (Haitian konpa, afrobeats, hip hop, R&B, and Top 40). I would wholeheartedly recommend Luniks Entertainment for your event!

​When deciding to partner with Luniks Entertainment, it came down to the pricing options, experience, and approach leading to the day of the event. ...The price made sense for our budget. Daniel understood the venue we had our event at and it was translated to our DJ, Alex. The approach of how this process works from start to finish was intricately explained when we initially met. That brought a lot of comfort to us in knowing you would be a pillar we could rely upon.

We also care about the little details - getting our names pronounced right, having notes about the style and theme of our wedding, and having a portal to pick songs we'd enjoy to hear for cocktails, dinner, and then dancing. And I can go into a bit more granular detail about things that I truly appreciated about Alex's work on the night of the wedding:

- The volume was never out of control, always just right
- He played the songs we asked for as time cues during cocktail hour and dinner, so we were always aware of the timeline
- His attire and demeanor were very professional
- He made very nice song transitions and kept the night moving swiftly, incorporating modern songs, but sticking to the script of what we asked for, despite others asking for songs, which I'm sure he's no stranger to experiencing.

We have received lots of compliments on the lighting, the music, and overall experience Alex contributed to our special day. It's been an honor working with Luniks Entertainment and it's no surprise the business continues to succeed as it was displayed quite flawlessly in the delivery you gave for our special day!

The pre planning meetings and tools were so helpful for us, and essentially helped us... think of logistics that we hadn't planned for since we didn't hire an event planner. We appreciated the flexibility and flawless execution of our schedule despite some small on the fly changes that we made. The DJ executed all of our announcements in a timely manner. Many of our friends came to us to tell us how much they loved the DJ, the music mix kept the dance floor occupied at all times through the end of the event. We booked Daniel because he played at our favorite college bar back in 2011 and he always had the crowd dancing. Well, he definitely delivered again o...n our wedding day in 2022! Not only was he a great DJ, but he was always on top of things. He walked us through all of the planning process and made things so much easier. When planning a wedding, the last thing you want to do is follow up with vendors about tasks or last minute concerns. We didn't have to worry about any of that with Luniks entertainment because Daniel was really organized, made us feel like VIP guests on event day, and ensured all of our wishes came to life. After reading all of the great reviews Luniks Entertainment had, we decided to contact them for our wedding. We had our initial consultation with DJ D...aniel, and right from the start we saw he was the DJ for us. He asked questions to get a feel for what vibes we wanted throughout the wedding. He was communicative and extremely professional throughout the planning process. Having never worked at our venue before, Daniel scheduled a tour on his own to ensure he knew what he needed to bring the day of our wedding.

On our actual wedding day, Daniel kept the wedding flowing. He let us know what was next, he was a great MC, and he kept our guests dancing for 4 hours STRAIGHT. He mixed different genres seamlessly. Look no further! Daniel & Lunik's Entertainment is the most professional and well versed DJ in the Chicagoland area. This is your DJ if you are ha...ving a mixed wedding. From the beginning, Daniel was very responsive to all our needs via email and during the zoom meetings. We had a half Mexican half white wedding and he made sure to ask us and detail out both sides. Daniel also helped us perfect our time line for the day of.

DJ Alex was our DJ the day of the wedding. Our guests danced for nearly 4 hours straight! We wanted our MC to say everything in English & Spanish and DJ Alex nailed it! Our guests keep telling us how much fun they had dancing both the Mexican music and the English music. He really kept it 50/50 and the transitions were flawless. As a multicultural couple (Mexican and Jewish), we were looking for a DJ who understood the importance of cross-cultural weddings and could cater to w...ide variety of musical tastes – from the traditional Hora to Banda to Top 40. We found Luniks Entertainment, specifically, Daniel Luna, and we could not be happier we hired him to be part of our special day. Daniel is professional, patient, detail-oriented, passionate about music, and truly a wonderful person. Leading up to our wedding, Daniel met with us several times to explain the online planning portal and carefully listened to our preferred musical genres, special event songs (e.g. Hora and Vibora de la Mar), and took note of the songs we absolutely did not want him to play. Up until the wedding, he checked-in with us via email and phone and even took the extra step of confirming with our mariachi band (a vendor not associated with Luniks) since it was the band’s first time at our venue. When the day of the wedding came – WOW! Daniel absolutely blew us away. The playlist was everything we wanted, his transitions were perfect, and he catered to every single guest on the dance floor. It was packed the entire night and people still are commenting how talented our DJ was. He also was an amazing MC and ensured everything he said was bilingual. One of the best memories of our wedding was when Daniel played a traditional Mexican song and everyone came rushing to the dance floor – even folks who had never heard this genre of music. DJ Lunix was the perfect choice for our wedding! He was always fast and clear in his communication in the months leading up to the event. Daniel was o...pen and flexible with all our requests for the atmosphere, some of which were fairly atypical for a weeding, but he made them a reality. He did a great job both with our completely custom playlist we sent to him for the dance floor, and also was super helpful by creating a custom playlist for our dinner background music based on the specific type of sound that we wanted. On the day of the event, he was easy to work with and created exactly the sort of atmosphere that we had wanted. I would highly recommend DJ Lunix and Daniel for any event you are planning that needs an MC or DJ!

DJ Daniel was fantastic. We were a COVID wedding that ended up moving our event date not once, but twice. Daniel was very easy to work with through ...the date changes and never charged anything extra. The personal log in to our event page allowed us to customize our wedding, was easy to use, and helped us choose songs for some of the traditional events like introduction of the wedding party and cake cutting. We chose the genre for the cocktail hour and for dinner—we had multiple guests ask us if we made the dinner playlist as they would love to have it if we did! We were thoroughly happy with Daniel and will use him again in the future when we have need of a great DJ!

I couldn't have thought of a better crew for our wedding. I already miss talking to Daniel! From the get-go he felt like an old friendly. So personabl...e, accommodating, invested in making our day/night for our friends perfect. His planning tools show he's thinking of everything to make the evening go by seamless. It really helped us stay organized, ensure we were thinking of things we didn't even know we had to think of, and add our own style/flavor to the evening. Daniel took on knowing exactly what we wanted and made it happen.

DJ Jesse made the night. My favorite memory of working with him was when we came up to me and said, "it's 11:15PM, want me to start with the ratchet stuff?" I literally died laughing but loved it (we were going for old 2000s dance floor hits). He was so great.

To top it off, Daniel and Jesse made our "extra requests" come true by sourcing, rehearsing, and creating a seamless DJ + live drummer experiences for our wedding.

It was the perfect night bringing just the right mix/vibe to our diverse wedding/guests!

We had the pleasure of working with Daniel Luna (DJ Luniks), and don’t know where to even begin the praises! From the very beginning Daniel was very... patient with us in helping us determine what we truly wanted for our wedding day. His vast knowledge of all types of music (and overall wedding etiquette/flow) helped tremendously! He knew almost every song we threw his way and had suggestions for us as well. On the wedding day, Daniel stepped up to the plate to make our day amazing. The elevator at our venue broke the day of the wedding and he carried ALL of his gear up 4 flights of stairs (and back down at the end of the night). He truly went above and beyond to provide incredible service. He was on point with everything! We appreciated him MCing in English and Spanish to cater to all of our guests. His song choices kept the dance floor going all night long! I can’t remember him playing one song that I wasn’t up dancing and singing to! We held our wedding September 2021 and was blown away by DJ Daniel Luna of Luniks Entertainment. From the moment we had our first consultation meeting... to the actual wedding day, Daniel was extremely professional and kind. Not only did all of our guests love the music and stay on the dance floor all night but he catered to all of our requests in detail. We hired a harpist and he even provided his own speakers so that it could be heard throughout the entire venue (both inside and out). We also made some last minute changes and Daniel was able to make quick adjustments on the fly.

Lastly, we had an event coordinator that was lacking in certain areas of detail but Daniel was able to step in and pick up her slack. Daniel is someone who genuinely cares about making your special day special. If he reads this, thank you again for everything! I rarely write reviews but felt this warranted one. Luniks Entertainment is amazing! You must book with them! Our guests absolutely loved DJ Martin & he kept the dance floor alive all night! Daniel ...helped us with each step of the process, which made us feel really comfortable going into our wedding day. Luniks even has a user-friendly portal where you can select 30 songs you "love," 30 songs you "like," and several songs you "don't like" or "don't want to hear" at your wedding.
Daniel and DJ Martin even helped us pick out our own songs to kick off the first song for guests to dance to and they gave us helpful suggestions along the way.
10/10 recommend - we were SO so happy with Luniks Entertainment's quality and customer service. We can't thank them enough!
