McShea Photography

Price Range $3500 - $7000

Description

Unlike some of the larger photo studios, when you work with McShea Photography, you will meet me face to face for our consultation, and you will be able to reach me by phone or email with whatever questions you have leading up to your wedding day. If you hire me…you get me. Not some contracted or associate photographer with no skin in the game. I take great pride in my work and it shows in the reviews because I truly care about every wedding that I do. I want every couple to feel thrilled about the whole process with me. Once we hit the end of the wedding day and when I’m able to start turning over photos back to them, nothing makes me more happy hearing back from ecstatic brides and grooms saying how much they treasure the photos and how happy everything went.

I try my best to offer my services for all budgets. Weddings start at 8 hours for $3500 with an average wedding being right around $4500. You can add as much as you want to the base package, whether its extra time or engagement sessions or albums. While I have weddings that include everything and reach $7k+, I never push add-ons. All packages are tailored to exactly what you want and nothing you don’t.

FAQs

All my prices to you are bottom line numbers. Tax is included. No additional 8% surprise for your package.
I always give recommendations of whether or not a 2nd photographer would be beneficial. You have the option to add a 2nd photographer to your coverage, but I won’t force it on you. A 2nd photographer provides an additional perspective, or in cases where I need to be in two places at one time, it’s a great investment. In most cases one photographer is all you need and helps keep your budget in line!
I ask for 4-6 weeks to get all of your photos back to you, depending on the season. You will receive a USB drive with 500+ edited photos as well as all originals with full rights to use them however you wish. My camera has Wi-Fi built in, and I'm able to post a couple of photos during the reception if you create a hashtag for your wedding guests. In addition, I always send you a couple handfuls of photos within a week of your wedding.

The magic question that is always asked of a wedding photographer. I could come up with some catchy label..."fine art photojournalism", "documentary art", etc...but I let my portfolio speak for itself. I avoid being part of the moment. I will pose shots throughout the day, especially during the formals, but I try my best to let the moments happen and naturally capture them. I avoid being the photographer that says "stop what you're doing, look here, and smile!" I put great focus on the candids from the time we start during the getting ready photos, till the dance floor closes. My goal is to get you back into the party as soon as possible. I make sure that we are efficient with the time that we have. I've been given 7 minutes to do formals. I've been given 3 hours. Either way everything will be prepared and planned beforehand so that once the big day comes, there will not be any questions on our timeline or the game plan.
