Hey!

I’m Amber, Founder and Coordinator at Out West Events. Originally from the great state of Ohio, I started my adventure in Colorado almost five years ago and could not be happier with my new home.

Planning events has been my jam for years.

The short and sweet version of my background looks a little like this…

Way back in the day before I realized I could make my passion a career – I planned what still feels like a billion sorority sisterhoods, socials, and philanthropy events.

Then, I went to grad school for Student Affairs in Higher Education and started a career in student, family, and alumni programming; a fancy way of saying I was an event planner for higher education institutions.

Since then, I’ve planned a number of events for a number of different universities and colleges. From week-long new student orientations for every single freshman on campus, to four-day Family Weekend events of 4,000 guests, to small fundraising dinners… you name it, ya girl has planned it.
