FAQs

What is the maximum occupancy?

The Mill can accommodate up to 80 guests seated at tables and 100 for a ceremony. The Carriage House will accommodate up to 125 guests seated at tables

What is required to book the venue?

The Shuey Mill requires a signed rental agreement along with a non-refundable date hold retainer equal to 25% of the total rental fee. Six months prior to your event another 25% is due and the remaining balance due 90 days prior to your event date. A $500 damage deposit is held and returned to you as long as there is no damage on the day of the event.

Will there be another event on the same day?

No! At The Shuey Mill we only host one wedding each day to ensure that each couple's event is special and receives our full attention it deserves.

Can I use any vendor I would like?

Yes, you are allowed to bring in any vendor you’d like, but all vendors must be approved by The Shuey Mill in advance. Vendors must be licensed and insured and proof of such must be provided. Food should be prepared off site and brought in for direct serving to your guests. Bartenders must provide proof of liquor liability insurance.

Can I have a ceremony and reception at the venue?

Absolutlely! We have several gorgeous options indoor and outdoor. We have two different views in the courtyard along with The Mill and The Carriage house to accommodate your desired look.
