About Me

Hello, welcome to my profile.

My name is Xuehui Lin, but many people call me “Vivi”, and I am a full-time wedding photographer based in San Francisco, CA.

I was born in China and have studied in both South Korea and the United States. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Japanese Department of Shenzhen University in 2012 and obtained my Master’s degree in Korean language education from Seoul National University in 2016. When I studied in South Korea, I began to record my daily life through a lens, and gradually found my passion in photography. After deciding to become a professional photographer and pursue my dreams, I attended the Academy of Art University majoring in Photography and achieved my MFA(Master of Fine Arts) degree in 2020.

While I have lived and studied in the United States, I participated in a number of international competitions (such as WPPI, Asiawpa, WPE, and IPC) and the professional qualification of photographers (MPA). I can communicate with clients from different countries with no difficulty, and it also brings global vision and a unique perspective to my works as I have extensive experience living in several countries and being able to speak several languages (Chinese, Cantonese, English, Korean, Japanese, and Spanish).

My goal is to achieve a balance of artistic integrity, commercial craftsmanship, and a strong style that allows me to capture the full range of fascinating human emotions.

Wedding photography is a career in which I can witness the most important and happiest moment in people’s life. I use what I have learned and experienced to create innovative artworks with narrative elements, and my work is something I am incredibly proud of. It is really wonderful that I could turn my passion into my career. More importantly, because of photography, I have made a lot of connections and friends in different professions and walks of life, I have experienced their different love stories, and been able to share their beautiful love with others.
