While my background is in the progressive Christian church, I am comfortable with interfaith rituals, secular ceremonies, and creating a service that meets the needs of the couple and families that are involved. I am unabashedly affirming of LGBTQ+ relationships, competent with trans issues, and happy to officiate queer weddings, including polyamorous commitment ceremonies. Based in Colorado Springs, CO, Woods + the Wild is a wedding officiant service. Led by celebrant Candace Woods, she specializes in helping couples to design deeply personal and affirming ceremonies. Perfection!
Candace was phenomenal. We did a quick video chat to meet her first and instantly could tell she was for us. Contracts and payments are straight forwa...rd and simple and she was responsive leading up to the wedding. She can do a variety of ceremonies depending on your beliefs, and is on top of things day-of. She instantly made us feel comfortable and we highly recommend Woods + the Wild for your big day!
