Yarrow & Spruce Floral Company

Description

Hi there!

I’m Sheilan, the owner and head designer at Yarrow & Spruce Floral Company. I am a Colorado native with a love for flowers, gardening, hiking, travel, dogs, and all things food. Wheat Ridge is my hometown, and I am excited to serve my community and beyond with beautiful flowers!

My passion for flowers began as a child when I would spend afternoons helping my dad in his garden, and making flower crowns out of dandelions. I began working professionally with flowers in 2018 under a highly regarded boutique florist in Denver. While I still am a part of that flower family as a seasonal floral designer, I decided to branch out on my own in 2021 to serve the West side of Denver + mountain community.

I look forward to bringing joy to people’s lives through flowers.

Yarrow & Spruce provides custom floral designs for weddings, events, and all of life’s other special moments.

Colorado is so fortunate to have an amazing selection of local flower farms, and we find whenever a couple is open to their floral design being tied to seasonality, the results are outstanding. In addition to their unparalleled beauty, local flowers are often more sustainable + environmentally conscious.
Color is very important to our floral designs, and we find color inspiration all around us in day-to-day life. It's amazing how the same color can change when you mix it with different hues. Given how passionate we am about color, we often hand select a large portion of the blooms when designing for a wedding.
